I reserve applying mascara mostly for special occasions as I just don't have the patience to apply the mascara and comb the lashes after putting my contact lens on. When my usual brand Maybelline got over, I got this for the simple reason that I could'nt find Maybelline in the store and my husband was getting impatient .So I just grabbed Clinique High Definition and hurried out without giving it much thought.
Even though I bought it without deliberation,I was pleasantly surprised by the product's effect. I am blessed with naturally thick long lashes. My husband who has never exactly complimented me after our marriage about my looks, commented out of the blue that my eyes looked very striking and beautiful. At first I could'nt beleive my ears!!. I found that this mascara does'nt irritate my eyes with my contact lens on. It does'nt flake even after a long time. With the 2 in1(comb & brush) wand, it is easy to apply. It really does give the extra volume and length to the lashes, giving the eyes a beautiful smoky look. Removal is also easy. And it's priced quite affordably. But it does clump slightly. Pros:-affordable price,adds to the volume and length of the lashes,lasts long,does'nt flake,does'nt irritate Cons:-slightly clumps, not water proof Verdict:-very good for the price,Highly recommended
