I bought this Clinique liquid facial soap after I was given some Boots vouchers for Christmas. I decided to go for the 'mild' version of the soap since it was suitable for dry combination skin. The soap is available to buy in sets of 3 x 50ml sizes, so they are easy to carry around and good if you wanted to take them on holidays. The set of 3 x 50ml tubes costs £15 (these do work out more expensive but I guess they could be quite handy!) It also comes in a 200ml size for £13 and a 'jumbo' size for £20, which is a 400ml bottle.

The facial soap is part of the '3-step' system from Clinique. I personally only use the face soap and then follow it with my normal moisturiser. You are meant to use the facial soap first, followed by clarifying lotion, and then dramatically different moisturising lotion (steps 1, 2 and 3) I haven't used the 3-step products together, but I find that this facial soap works well by itself.
The directions are to use it twice daily, but I normally only use it once a day before I go to bed. I find after use that my skin feels really clean, and like I said before, it doesn't dry my skin out. My skin didn't get irritated or sore after using the product, and I would agree that it is mild but also that it is very effective.
The facial soap comes in a green bottle with a large 'C' on the front of it. It comes with a dispenser pump, which is really great for getting the liquid out. It means that you don't have to screw a lid back onto a jar whilst you have messy hands! It also means that you get a nice even amount out of the bottle. I find that one or two squirts are enough to wash my face and neck.
I really liked the design of the bottle. I found it quite simple and classy. I really liked how the green and silver colours that are used on the bottle looked together.
The soap itself is clear in colour and quite thick in consistency. Once you wet your face and apply the soap it works up into a nice lather, which you then rinse off. I like that it creates a lather, it really feels like you are cleaning your skin then! The soap doesn't really smell of much, just a subtle clean, soapy smell.
I really like this soap and would recommend it. I find it works well with my skin and doesn't dry it out, and my skin feels really clean after I have used it.

The computer recommended I try the mildliquid cleanser, mild clarifying lotion and dramatically different moisturiser. I opted to buy the full size cleanser and get the clarifying lotion and moisturiser as the free samples.
After using the cleanser for a few weeks I found it wasn't making any difference to the dryness on my face and decided when it ran out to try the next one down in the range the extra mild. I ordered it from feelunique at a cost of £11.95 for 200mls which was considerably cheaper than the department store where I paid £13 for 100mls. It came ...
