Moisture On-Line is an excellent moisturiser that will leave your skin feeling really pampered. It provides a protective barrier against cold weather, sun damage etc. and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. It moisturises very dry skin almost immediately. This is not a product you would have to use for days before seeing any benefits. This moisturiser is designed mainly for those with normal-to-dry or combination skin types.
I was looking for a suitable moisturiser that wouldn't irritate as my skin is sometimes sensitive. And one that wouldn't be too heavy because certain moisturisers have left my pores blocked and feeling really unhealthly.
I have combination skin but during the winter months I need a good moisturiser to combat the drying effects of the cold weather but one that won't trigger my oily patches. I have used Clinique products before and my sister is a massive fan of their beauty range so I knew a number of their products were targeted towards combination skin. As with all Clinique products there is no odour and the products are good quality.
Clinique suggest you use it twice a day, following the 3-Step Skin Care System and suggest using it with Total Turnaround Visible Skin Renewer. If you've got the money I'd suggest using it with the skin renewer aswell as the water dissolve cream cleanser. But this would work out very expensive.
In my opinion you only need to apply this product where neccessary, in the dry areas, avoiding your eyes. Because I only use small amounts a bottle tends to last quite long but with the price of this moisturiser it would have to last in order to get your moneys worth. I personally only use this product in the winter months now when my skin is really dry. For the rest of the year I use a No 7 moisturiser which suits me fine for the warmer months and only costs around £6 for a big bottle.
However with Moisture On-line you'll not only achieve soft & healthy skin in the short term clinique claims your skin will learn to retain moisture and learn to moisturise itself. Continued use of the moisturiser should also improve skin tone. I don't use the product enough and haven't used it continuously over a long period of time so couldn't comment on any improvements to my skin tone.
Clinique's Moisture On-Line's main ingredients include Vitamin E, lactic acid, plant extracts, water-binding agents and antioxidants. (This means absolutely nothing to me but thought I should include it in my review).
Overall Clinique is a high quality brand and all of their products that I have used are excellent. Their moisturisers are all gentle, revitalising and leave skin soft and smooth. However, there is a big but, and thats the price. Your looking to pay around £27 for this item and its not worth the money. Because I like the item I do buy it but only use it in the winter when my skin has really dried out and definately not twice a day.
