WHO ARE THEY?
Clinique Laboratories Inc. was founded in 1968 in New York, USA. They make skin care products, make-up and fragrances for men and women (although I don’t think they actually produce make-up specifically for men!). All their products are allergy tested and - apart from the fragrances - are fragrance free.
WHAT IS IT?
I first tried Post Shave Healer a few years ago as I tend to suffer soreness and dryness after shaving, particularly ... ...and dryness, encourages healing of minor nicks and cuts”. Little information is given on its content, other than to say that it has a high Aloe Vera content. Despite searching both their US & UK web sites I was unable to find out any more. As it is allergy tested, however, it should be OK for most people to use and it is supposed to be suitable for all skin types.
HAVE YOU GOT THE BOTTLE?
It is available from many well know stores including Boots, ...

Advantages: It does exactly what it says on the tin Disadvantages: The cost
...That is until I tried Clinique Post Shave Healer.
It is presented in a simple grey screw top bottle. You can tell they had the male gender in mind when they designed this – it displays no signs of femininity, so men won’t lose confidence when having this on their toiletry shelf. Also due to this, the product is fragrance free - however when I applied it I noticed a distinct smell of paint. But this smell dissipated very quickly. Recommended ... ...dried. The cream is white and has a smooth, runny texture, which is reassuring, as you know that you’re not going to get any facial discoloration from it and it feels good. The cream sinks into the skin very quickly and soothes immediately due to its aloe content (from the much acclaimed aloe vera plant). The bottle is also recyclable, which may or may not bother you when you cut yourself for the ninth time with the razor. With great quality ...

Advantages: Close, nearly pain free shave Disadvantages: The cost of those blades, ouch!!!
...Like quite a lot of people out there I suffer from quite bad razor rash after I have shaved, and am forever cutting myself whilst shaving. I have used all sorts of razors and shaving foams, and I know it is towing the line here, but I too find the Gilette Mach 3 razor the best on the market.
Prior to using this razor I used the Sensor Excel, the Sensor, the Wilkinson Sword Protector, the 3D Protector etc. etc. Now these were quite good razors, but I still had a lot of problem with razor burn. This hasn't gone away now I've started using the Mach 3, but it is certainly a lot less painful than it used to be. Used in conjunction with a good shaving cream and brush (I use Palmolive shaving cream, it's cheap and effective!) and a good balm (you can't beat Clinique's PostShaveHealer) I find that shaving is just about bearable now.
I...

...Beauty companies are bringing out new men’s skin care products all the time, to fill a new niche market. The modern man wants to look good, and Clinique has brought has brought out its own for men range. It’s a designer range of men’s skincare products in plain manly packaging, with a designer price tag to match. It is quite a large range and includes moisturisers, eye creams, face wash and even soap.
Clinique for men is my hubby's Favourite Shaving Cream; he loves it (so do I), no more razor rash with this cream. I must admit that for all its benefits it is expensive at £8.50 for a 125ml tube, but it will last for a month. Its does make a good gift though; you can get gift packs from most stores for around £20 - £25. There are various gift sets, with slightly different contents; most contain the shave cream, plus postshavehealer...
