The smell is the standard, not great selftanner smell, without any additional fragrances added by Clinique.
The colour is quite deep for fair skin if you apply quite a lot of the product on your skin (you can vary the deepness of the tan with the amount you apply), so I often mix it up with my body lotion, about 50:50, which basically gives me a similar result to a gradually building selftanner. I initially bought one tube of the 'Deep' shade and one of the other shade: 'Fair', but found that the 'Fair' looked a bit yellow, and as I can get the same depth of tan with mixing the 'Deep' with my body lotion, have stuck to that. With using different "potencies" of the tan and body lotion on different areas of the body (arms/underneath arms etc.), it's easy to make the tan look a bit more natural than self tans ...

i have never used any of cliniques products before but after using this wonderfull bronzer im sure to try some more of there products. My boyfriend is obsessed with fake tan and while we were shopping one day we went into debenhams and were browsing through the lotions and potions and we spotted this. My boyfriend dashed to the till and paid for it it was pricey but the lovely colour it gives you is definetly worth it, and as for my boyfriends obsession with fake tans i think he has now decided with sticking to this even though im always pinching it.So for all u people out there that love a all year tan this is definetly worth a try and im sure u wont be dissapointed.
