This self-tanningbody spray from Clinique has quickly become a favourite of mine. The pump-action spray is easy to use and the colour, while quite light, is very natural looking. The spray itself is light and is scent-free, which is good news for those with sensitive skin. It is also colourless, which is not quite such good news for those who are nervous about streaks or bare patches. The spray works with the bottle in any position, even upside down, which makes it easy to reach those awkward spots like the backs of the knees. When using this self-tan, I have found that the best way to avoid streaks is to exfoliate well beforehand and to be generous with the spray. My personal preference is to use The Sanctuary Covent Gardensalt scrub in the bath first, moisturise my feet and knees so they don't absorb too much tanner, and apply the tanner half an hour before bed. When I wake up the next day, I have a nice natural tan which is not so dark as to be unbelieveable. The tanner can be applied a second time for a darker finish, but I have not tried this yet - it's a bit early in the year for anyone to believe I am actually that bronzed! This self-tan costs about £12.50 from Clinique counters.
