Incredibly hydrates skin & controls oil where needed Promotes balanced texture & even skin tone Contains sunscreen power to turn off harmful UV rays 04439180402
Advantages: Gives a natural look Disadvantages: You dont get a lot of make-up
I bought this CliniqueSuperbalancedcompactmake-up for about £17 for 10g from Boots about a year ago.
I
It's a must have for combination skin; it knows exactly where to hydrate and control oil.
It's an oil free product with 13 different shades, I recommend golden for medium to dark skin (I have pale skin but when I get a spray tan I use this colour)
The good thing about this foundaiton is you can buy refills so you dont have to keep buying the whole compact again and again refills cost £14 for 10g saving around £3 if you buy another compact.
The coverage is moderate; I don't like full coverage foundations as they look really unnatural, where as this compact makes your skin look very natural but flawless at the same time.
How to apply the product
Use the sponge given to you in the compact or any other sponges and smooth it ...
Advantages: covers blemishes, easy to apply, controls shine Disadvantages: cost
The best thing to do first is to buy the product as a whole, ie the makeup, sponge and the compact holder. Once you have the holder then you can just buy the refills which come as the makeup and a new sponge. Fit these into your holder and away you go.

This makeup controls the oily areas and moisturises the dry patches. It covers up any redness that I have, so much so, that i don't need to use any additional concealer.
I do feel it is expensive but its ...
Advantages: Leaves you with soft, glowing skin Disadvantages: Need to use powder if you have oily skin
I have very oily and uneven skin tone and have used maaaany foundations over the years to try to correct this, including other premium range foundations. CliniquesSuperbalanced Make- Up however is the only one that warranted a repeat purchase and I have now been using it for 3 years and have no intentions of changing.
As has been mentioned in other reviews it is quite oily so it is essential to use a good powder . However as long as you use a decent powder with this product then it will leave you with a very natural looking glow which I have never seen in any other product.
I have never come across another foundation which after you out it on it makes your skin look 'healthy' i.e. there is a definate glow and softness to the skin whilst evening out your skin tone and covering bemishes at the same time.
The price may put some ...
