This product is readily available to buy at the Clinique counter in department stores such as Debenhams, online or at Boots the Chemist. I bought mine from Boots and paid £15.50, but I'm sure if you browsed the internet, you'll be able to purchase it at a discounted rate (for example, the website 'Skin Store' are advertising it for £12.95). Having said this however, I truly believe that Clinique 'Take the Day Off Cleansing Milk' is well worth the amount of money I paid).

Firstly I must confess, I don't feel I am particularly blessed in the perfect skin department; I have quite sensitive skin, with dry patches and eczema, but I also find that if I don't take proper care of it, I'm prone to outbreaks of the dreaded spots. Having become fed up with numerous cleansers that weren't doing what they promised to do, I began looking for a better cleanser. I have friends who use a variety of Clinique products who swear by them so I was keen to discover what they had to offer. The adviser at the counter was superb - she listened to my problems and recommended the 'Take the Day Off Cleansing Milk'. It's ideal for people with dry skin because of it's gentle formula but it's highly effective also. I am so glad this was recommended- it's been excellent.

Packaging: I really think the packaging of the Cleanser is rather attractive. In a girly purple, it has the big Clinique logo displayed on the front, whilst the back offers clear instructions for use in five different languages, alongside the ingredients. For all the eco-conscious people out there, it's also recyclable. The cream is dispensed through a push down dispenser (quite hard to describe so apologies!). This is brilliant - you get just the right amount so you avoid wastage, and if like me, you're accident prone, when it's dropped you don't loose tons of the cream either. Also, this is super for travelling because you can twist the nozzle so it's locked so it won't go all other your toiletry bag.

The Actual Product: Firstly you only need a little bit of this to make a difference. The consistency is lovely and light, so doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy. You can tell this works a treat when you see how much grime comes off on the cotton wall - before I think I was probably just leaving it on my face! Because you only need a little bit, this product lasts for ages - I have about a quarter of the bottle remaining but I've been using it for almost a year (so it's definitely worth it's price tag when it lasts you that long!). After cleansing, your skin is ready for other steps such as toning and moisturising.

I strongly recommend this product to anyone looking for a gentle yet highly effective cleanser. My skin is heaps better now than it was before and I rarely get spot outbreaks. Compared to other cleansers, the Clinique 'Take the Day Off Cleansing Milk' really leaves your skin feeling clean and lovely. An excellent product all round!
