This make up remover is widely available anywhere that sells Clinique. In the UK Clinique is available in department stores such as John Lewis and Debenhams as well as chemist shops like Boots. You can also buy it on Clinique's website and sometimes on discount cosmetic sites. I generally get mine from the States where it is a lot cheaper!

If you travel then try to buy in duty free or abroad as it is very likely to be cheaper. Another tip is to always buy your Clinique products at 'Bonus Time' when if you buy more than product you get a free gift, which always has some excellent Clinique products included.
PACKAGING:
The remover comes in a bottle with no outer packaging. The bottle is 125 ml big and is purple in colour. The bottle is see through so you can see how much you have left. The lid is similar to the ones you find on medicine bottles, they are child-proof so your remover will be safe from little hands and from spillages.
THE CLAIM:
Taken from the Clinique website this is what the product claims: "Superior, fast acting cleansing and makeup removal for the delicate eye and lip areas. Removes eye makeup thoroughly, without pulling or tugging eye area skin, even waterproof formulations. Suitable for contact lense wearers. Ophthalmologist tested."
USING THE PRODUCT:
I'm not someone who likes to spend ages cleansing, toning and moisturizing twice a day. In the morning my face gets a quick scrub in the shower and in the evening it gets a quick wipe down with a face wipe. As I don't wear very much make up I find that this is usually enough. However, the two pieces of make up that I wear most days are eye-liner and mascara. These are my staples and eyeliner would be one of the luxuries I would take to a desert island with me (well, you never know, Man Friday may turn out to be the man of my dreams!). For the most part the face wipes cope with my eye make up (or at least appear to in the evening but I do sometimes have the distinct look of a panda about me in the mornings!). However, after a big night out when the eye make up is applied far more liberally or after using Clinique's cream brush on liner (very waterproof - see my review!) the wipes just aren't enough to wipe out my inner panda!
To use the make up remover you firstly have to shake the bottle. This seems to be because there is quite a lot of oil based ingredients and they separate. Once shaken you pour a small amount onto a cotton wool pad. You don't need a lot on the pad for it to be effective. Wipe the pad over your eye and hey presto, you are left with a black pad and clean eyes (although depending on how much of a rock chick look you were going for this may take more than one pad!).
The remover works really well and generally removes all my eye make up. I wake up looking completely human - all traces of my inner panda have been vanquished! As per the claim it takes off any waterproof make up as well. It is very gentle and I feel quite happy using it even when I have my contact lenses in (which I don't with the face wipes as they are harsher on eyes). I can't really comment on its claim to remove lip make up as well as I only use gloss and this is gone long before the removers come out! However, I can see no reason why it wouldn't work and think it would be good if you used liners or stains on your lips.
So the remover is excellent and really works, but is it worth that much money??? Well, yes and no. It's good and a bottle does last a long time (especially if like me you only use it when your eye make up is done for a night out etc). I do think that it does a better job than more budget removers, but only just. It's not really worth the price tag of £11.50 but if you buy it on offer or abroad then I would say it is worth it. My only gripe about the product (apart from the price) is that it is slightly too greasy and despite wiping off it leaves a greasy feel on your eyelids for a little while after use. This is only really a problem if I'm using the remover for correction to eye make up as it then makes it difficult to apply fresh make up on top, but going to bed I don't notice too much.
RECOMMENDED?
Yes I do recommend this product. Despite the price tag, which I think is too high, it is a high quality product which really does work well.
Advantages: Removes all trace of makeup or lippy perfectly Disadvantages: slightly expensive
Clinique Take The Day Off eye make up remover really is something special, so excuse the rather corny title, but I just couldn't help myself!!
Like many women I have tried numerous eye makeup removers in my lifetime of makeup wearing, which is about 10 years to date! This can be a good thing when dreaming into your lovers eyes somehow it's a good thing - however, when ... ...the most) I stumbled across Clinique Take The Day Off Eye Makeup Remover on a holiday to Cyprus some years ago. However the one thing I had never tried, till then, was their eye makeup remover. Partly due to that fact that its ...

It comes in a see through purple bottle with a silver lid that screws off. You need to shake the bottle before you use it, then apply some to some cotton wool and sweep it gently over the eye and lip areas.
The makeup remover is a clear, thin, oily textured lotion, rather than a cream, and it doesn't really have a noticeable scent to it. It's easy to get the right ...

whereas most makeup removers either leave your poor skin dry and tight, or greasy and shiney, this particular product has a perfect balance. on a first glance the bottle looks odd, there are two layers of remover which sit on top of eachother so remember to shake the bottle first or it really won't do much good (trust me, im very forgetful myself). you only need a small amount, a 2 second ... ...however i do reccomend the clinique eye makeup remover to get rid of all that kohl completly. if your willing to spend extra time on your eyes then this product covers eyes and face, even lip stains!

Clinique Take the day off make up remover is top make up remover and it took me a long time find the right one for my skin and sensitive eyes. I have tried most products from the Clinique range in my quest for my holy grail product including the following, that i either bought foolishly, or had with a gwp.
Cleansers -
Clinique Wash Away Gel
(Combination/Oily Skin)
Clinique Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser (All Skin Types)
Clinique Comforting Cream Cleanser (Very Dry/Sensitive Skin)
CliniqueTake The DayOffMakeupRemover (All Skin Types)
All the cleansers i tried, made my skin feel worse not better, and the word paint stripper comes to mind.
Toners
Clinique Clarifying Lotion Mild (Very Dry/Sensitive Skin)
Clinique Clarifying Lotion 1 (Dry/Sensitive Skin)
Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 (Normal Skin)
What bit of normal skin the cleanser left me with, the toner finished off.

sticking. It will last with full shine for around an hour providing you are not really drinking/eating or making contact with your lips, it fades well, not leaving any kind of sticky residue on your lips. It doesn?t leave a strange outline, but then my shade is quite sheer so I couldn?t comment on how darker shades may look after time.
THE AFTERMATH
I don?t find that this has any lasting results on my lips ? it neither dehydrates them nor moisturises them. It is easily re
moved with normal makeupremover (I use Clinique ? Take The DayOff). After removing the gloss your lips will be back to normal.
