I have never suffered from terrible acne but I do get a few spots teamed with some oily and some dry skin. Until around six months ago I would just use soap and water or some random face wash which would only last a few weeks. Eventually having been taken in by all the Clinique adverts I bought a bar of their soap for eleven pounds, compared to other facial washes this was a lot but it did promise to last me three to four months, it has lasted be far longer and has turned out to be far better value than anything from Johnsons, Clearasil or even Boots. But price set aside the benefits are good, I shall not say astounding because thay did not turn me into a fresh facedbeauty overnight but my face felt clean and my skin was certainly beginning to clear. I have not completely followed their three step routine, I have bought the moisturiser which is fantastic and lasting a long time and to replace the second step I purchased seven day scrub cream which is essentially an exfoliating cream and is particularly effective.
Buying the product may seem a little daunting but I assure you it really is as simple as they suggest, they cater for three different skin types, oily, normal and dry; I found the assistant extremely helpful even if it was just for a bar of soap, her advice seemed to be impartial and honest. I did regard Clinique as the ultimate luxury product, chic packaging with chic prices, but after using their products I regard Clinique as a quality product, the packaging is just an extra benefit. Lastly there may be some of you out there who think Clinique is perhaps for the older woman or the rich, it isn't, I am eighteen and I love it.
