I went into boots today and noticed an offer that they had on for Clinique and as I am such a sucker for such freebies I had to investigate.
Basically upon purchasing two or more products from clinique you were entitled to a free gift but what’s the free gift I here you cry? Well actually it’s EIGHT!!! free gifts.
The box contained samples of different products from the clinique range and they include, 7 day Scrub cream rinse off formula 30ml, Dramatically different moisturising lotion 15ml, Anti gravity firming cream 7ml, Blended face powder 4.2g, long lasting lipstick 4g (in heather moon), Gloss wear SPF8 2.4g (air kiss), Clinique Happy perfume spray 4ml and a retractable lip brush in a shiny silver case. See what I mean great huh?!?
When you purchase your two clinique products you are asked your skin type i.e.; oily, dry or combination and some of the products in your gift box will differ depending on your skin type mine is combination.
I don’t normally buy from clinique but it has been recommended to me by lots of people so I thought why not I’d just been paid and wanted to splurge on myself. The two products I bought to qualify for the free gift were, naturally glossy mascara and long last lipstick both of which I have tried since I got home and am very satisfied the mascara cost £11.00 and really adds length and thickness to my eyelashes and the lipstick cost £10.50 and its really creamy and feels like silk on your lips, so far its stayed on all day so it does as it says!
I know some people might think that I may have wasted £21.50 today just to get the free gifts but I needed some lipstick and mascara and although I wouldn’t normally use clinique I now think that it would be worth investing. At the end of the day you get what you pay for and I definitely feel that I haven’t been ripped off and have instead stumbled upon a great deal!!
i use clinique products all the time and swear by them. Watch out for bonus time at Frasers and Debenhams too - usually happens about twice a year in both...and it is a different selection of freebies each time. K

My mum uses Clinique stuff, but they're too pricey for me, even if they're on special offer!
