Well here's the story on how I starting using clinique, one day I was in a department store and my face was really dry, I was with my brother and his face was dry as well. We happened to pass the clinique counter and we went to the men's counter and I used the M lotion from the men's range. I couldn't believe it I had instant super baby soft skin within seconds which lasted until the next day.
So I thought cinique was a miracle worker, and it happened to be that boots was doing a great offer. Buy 1 step and get the other 2 free!! What a great deal, but the other 2 step is a trial size. Which is great anyways?
There's a clinique computer which is actually a slider which has questions to determine what skin typing you are. There is skin type 1,2,3,4.
Skin type 1 is for skin with fine pores and tendency for dry skin. Skin type 2 is for average skin not too dry and not too oily. Skin type 3 is for naturally oily skin Skin type 4 is for very oily skin
So 3 steps to that great clinique glow, 3 mins a day is all you need for clear, healthy skin.
so the first step is to cleanse, as I'm a skin type 2 I use facial soap mild a 100g one will cost you around £8.50 if I could remember and the 150g is £11 cant stress enough buy the 150g this bar of soap lasts me a year, even though I use twice a day. Well you would think a bar of soap will rip your skin natural oils and make it dry. Not with this soap, it never leaves your skin dry or taut. This soap is very easy to foam, and it really scrubs dirt well. I found out that I never knew I had so much dirt on my skin until I used this soap, I mean the other cleansers I use didn't clean my skin, skin deep, the water from the cleaning showed me a lot of dirt. So the facial soap gets 10/10 from the 3 step range.
Next up is step which is to exfoliate your skin, the clarifying lotion . Whoa, instant you can feel the lotion at work, kind of stung my skin allot at first, felt like acid but you know that the product is just working right for you. But after the long term, I think it might be too strong as I see some dry skin patches on my face. This product gets 9/10 from me.
The last but not least is the dramatically different moisturizing lotion, well as you read at the beginning of my review I went to buy clinique because of what the M lotion did to my skin. But I was a little disappointed with this product it gave me instant model porcelain skin but did not moisturizer at all and doesn't leave it soft like M lotion. But overall like it says on the bottle it gives a very dramatic difference, the clinque glow.
Price range You can get the soap for £8.50 buy the 150g one last for a year!!! Clarifying lotion is about £13-14 lasts 3-4 months DDML is about £14 for 50ml last 3 months
well overall I think the 3 step range did wonders to my skin I been using it for over two years I tried other expensive stuff like shesido which didn't work and most recently biotherm please check my review. But I think clinique is far better then the other products I have tried, and quite worth the money as products like L'Oreal can cost you about £7 for cleanser why not fork out for this range as it last quite a while. It also gave me such great results it looks like i been drinking water to flush out my toxins. My friends all ask me how i get my very clean smooth skin, i brag about clinique like i'm a expert. Also all year round there are great free gifts with the purchase of 2 or more products, and thats how i managed to get the whole range for myself.
