Over the past year Clinique has become a firm favourite of mine! I used some of the products for a few years now after my mum recommended them to me but I got hooked last year after a Clinique sales woman tempted me over!
Cliniques has a range of products to suit every skin type and person, whether you looking for just the basic make up essentials to all out glamourous make up for your big night out on the town! They also do an anti-aging and moisture specialist range that includes a patent pending moisturiser which which protects against the environment.
All Clinique products are hypo- allergenic which is great for me as i have very sensitive skin..and so far have not had any major problems with the range.
What i really like about Clinique is that they will give you free skin report to assess what type of skin you have and which products best suit you! They ask you questions like, Do you tan easily and the colour of your hair and eyes.
Clinique has the famous 3 step skin care regime which states that 'great skin can be created'. This is quite an ambitious claim but i do think it is justified to some degree as i have been using it for almost 6 months now and the tone of my skin has vastly improved.
Price Even though some people may feel Clinique is a bit over priced they are always doing deals like 3 for two or Clinique bonus time where you get a free little goodie bag full of gorgeous new products to try! I got one a while back and the products are really good (trial size mascara, eye cream, pore minimser, lipgloss, and a cute bag to put it all in). Average prices: Moisturiser- £27. Fondation- £17.50 Lipstick- £12 Concealer- £12-£15. eyeliner- £12. Fragrance-£20-£40. Ebay sell quite a lot of Clinique products so you will probably find some good bargains!
Website Clinique have a really good website where you can purchase all of their products online. This website is really accessable and easy to use. It has pictures of all the products and details about how to apply them and the benefits and also what other products go well with it. They also have a tips from the expert section, giving guides on how best to apply the products to make you look fabulous!
staff The staff i feel are always friendly and they dont make you feel harassed like some sales people do nowadays! They all seem to know what they are talking about and i get the feeling they have all been fully trained to exceptional standards in order to deliver the highest level of service to the customer! The only one small point i would have to make is that once i got recommended the wrong type of soap for my skin type, after a few days of using it, it totally dried up my skin! And i did break out in a few spots, but i took the product back to the counter and the woman was so nice about it that she changed it straight away and even gave me a few free samples as an apology!
Recommended products My favourite product that Clinique do is the dramatically different moisturiser! Its so light and never greasy! I have a problem where some moisturisers that i use leave a sticky film on the skin, but cliniques never does this! I also love the cream shaper for eyes, i have it in egyptian but they do it in a range of colours from bronzes to plums! It has a slight sparkle to it which really highlights your eyes
products i wouldnt recommend I know many people that swear by the pore minimiser, but for me its never really worked! I recieved a free sample a while back and was excited to try it. I couldnt really see any difference and it left a weird powdery residue on my skin. But i guess different products work for different people...so it may be worth a try.
I find that Clinique is quite acessable in that most boots and department stores sell it and many online stores do also.
To me Clinique means quality, innovative products, gorgeous packaging and stunning colours! I recommend everyone go out and try at least one product....

Advantages: powerful yet gentle, goes a long way, looks good on the bathroom shelf, clinique as a company often have special promotions Disadvantages: greasy, quite expensive, goes frothy after a while
