I read the sludge green label highlights quickly: '... organically grown ... decaffeinated ... with no chemicals ... produced with respect for the environment ... Clipper also ensures the coffee farmers recieve a fair price for their harvest, ... ...now virtually used up my Clipper Organic Decaffeinated Coffee. I'm going to buy another jar but I do miss the 'proper' stuff. For me, taking the caffeine away spoils the whole coffee experience. There are, of course, good reasons to eliminate caffeine. It can make the heart beat irregularly, increase the level of fatty acids in the blood, stimulate excess acid in the stomach, raise blood pressure and all sorts of other nasty things.
