linked at 1625 MHz. The memory clock is 1008MHz, and the memory capacity of the unit is 512 MB. This was one of the first medium-range cards to support Shader Model 4 and DirectX 10; although Shader Model 3 and DirectX 9 are fully supported too. The card contains one DVI and one HDMI output. It has a fairly large heatsink and fan, which is adequate for normal use; but overclockers may want to consider replacing it with a more effective cooling method. The 9600 only uses up to 95 watts of power, which isn't bad at all.
So how does the 9600GT stand its ground nowadays, at the start of 2010? Well, it may not be on par with the latest flashy cards from Nvidia and ATi, but it certainly out-performs its console counterparts.

Advantages: Very powerful, Cheap, Only uses one slot on the motherboard Disadvantages: Stock cooler is loud
A great piece of kit at a great price!

Advantages: brilliantly amazingly god like card Disadvantages: might melt?! be careful!
Feel as if you need a new ATI Radeon Graphics processing Unit? I highly reccomend this one! its not as powerful as the Nvdia 8800 GTX in some of the stats, but its different in a lot of ways
Gaming companies preferably use the excellent ATI GPU's because they find them more flexible for them and for the consumers. and that is why its worth getting this gpu. It is absoloutly flawless with any game or with any video editing process.
The things that happen within this gpu, are truly quite amazing. It morphs and moulds to the game and gives you the best possible results.
great card however, my personal experaince with cards made by club havent been brilliant. they have helpful staff, however i wouldnt reccomend them 100%
