...Ciao! has a world of technical details about this card, but you don't want to hear about that, do you? This is a 3D graphics card for a computer, it is the connection between what you see on your screen and what the computer is outputting.
Most cards do the 2D drawing of windows, and the like, without much bother. But when it comes to 3D rendering the gloves really come off.
I don't wish to bore you with the technicalities, but this card has 4 RAM (memory) chips on it, and 1 GPU (graphics processor). You can find the speeds of them in the ciao! details.
It slips in easily into the AGP (advanced graphics port) slot on your motherboard, and it's the standard size so you won't have any trouble getting it in, unlike those AGP Pro cards. This is not an AGP Pro card, despite the name.

Advantages: Ok, cheap Disadvantages: not for extreme gamers
...It's an excellent video card that has Shader Model 3.0, Scalable Link Interface (SLI), PureVideo andHigh Dynamic Range (HDR). HDR is the rendering of 3D computer graphics scenes by using lighting calculations done in a high dynamic range. Specifically it refers to the new lighting model used to illuminate 3D worlds. It's a low budget card and it will work perfectly on Vista and many games. Inno3DGeForce 7300 GT is one of the faster cards of its class so this mild setback should not deter anyone from getting it. It's already faster than a GeForce 7600 GS so one shouldn't be too greedy. If you're looking for a cheap and worthwhile upgrade, and you already have the motherboard, you should consider buying the 7300GT. Just make sure your getting the GDDR3 256MB version....

The Club3D GeForce 7600GT is a very competitively priced product, offering the best value for money of any graphic card in this range, except for bargain versions of older cards, which don't offer Shader Model 3 so I believe this to be the best choice... more
