...Wow, What a lovely card! And thank god for that. I had to find a graphics card for my downstairs PC as I bought a 7600GS that didn't work…. Boohoo. I won't review that card as I know it works on most computers just my one didn't so I don't think it's fair I review it.
This card however- well installed it and bingo! Games work. The problem with the 7600 was that 3D applications wouldn't work. So I went back to my norm and stuck with ATi- I've never gone wrong with them.
The X1650Pro is the step up form the X1600 and it has 512MB of RAM. I'm not too sure of the differences between the two but I'm sure this one is faster and has its 512mb of RAM. This enables your games to run smoother and faster. The clock speed is fast and I won't bore you with the details of that but its fast.
The cooling on this chip is done by a fan. It is quite...

Advantages: Extremely fast, worth the cost, runs like a dream Disadvantages: Expensive, power hungry
...I bought this card from Aria.co.uk about 3 weeks ago (arrived next day too) as an upgrade from my Radeon 9800 pro and the difference this makes is amazing, even better is that it only cost me just under £315!!!
If you're deciding between a radeon and a geforce, geforce wins hands down.
This is great for games like F.E.A.R and allows them to play at maximum graphics with no problem what so ever. My only gripes are that it is quite costly, but is deffinalty worth it. The other being that you will need at least a 400w 20pin (it comes with a 24pin converter) PSU to keep it happy, I recomend something like a 600w with a 24pin.
Hope this helps you make your decision,
matt...

Advantages: Good inbetween card Disadvantages: Slightly Underpowered For High end games.
...This is a review as asked from my friend who owns this card. I own the 512 PCI version and did own the 512mb AGP version for which reviews are all customized for all. Any questions please ask.
Installation
As with all graphics cards, just plug and play (so they say).
Plug in, connect up and install drivers. Took me and my mate as a first install 1/2 hour but could take 1hr at the most. Easy pesy.
Performance
This card has pixel shader 3.0, will do anti-anialising and anistropic filtering. If you want full techs visit AMD website. What this all means is that is will play 99% of the latest games out today. It is not the for runner of technology like the 8800 nvidea or x9500ati but is a far cheaper alternative with enough perforance power. Running the card does create heat, you need to have adequate cooling with the pro version...
