We picked a pre-owned copy of this up from Game for £24.99 for my daughter when she was 6 years old (she is now 7 going on 8) and is also a fan of the online game.

This is a 3+ game which has very basic controls and is easy to understand and navigate around with cherry music and sound effects.

The premise of the game is to complete all the missions as an Elite Penguin Force Agent. As well as the main game, there are also mini games. One of the good things about this DS game (if your child does have an online account) is that you can earn coins by completing missions and mini-games and transfer them wirelessly to your club penguin account. This was definitely something that made this game appeal more to my daughter.

Herbert P. Bear Esq. is the culprit and it is his dastardly plans that you, as Agent, must unravel and stop him from carrying them out!

This game also comes with an agent card which has a code on it that you can use on online to unlock new items for your online penguin.

The game automatically saves your progress which is great for younger players.

You get to create your own penguin at the start so can decide how your agent will look which my daughter particularly enjoyed doing and has you go through the game you unlook more accessories to dress him or her up in.

This game can be downloaded so that two players can play together. The graphics, although fairly basic, are very bright and colourful as are the sound effects and music.

Basically this is a very simple but fun and entertaining game to play but is aimed towards younger players in my opinion. Now aged 7, she doesn't play with it as much anymore so it doesn't have huge longevity, therefore I am only awarding it three stars overall.
