Cluster Repairs UK actually did not carry put the repair on my display, they sent it to another company called SID. This is not to be confused with the one run by Simon Delagare, (who is a real gentleman). They stated they had fitted a new screen and ribbon cable when all they had in fact done was pack the old unit with foam, and bend the old ribbon cable with a heat gun, and charged me 40 pounds for this. This was examined by an independent third party and I have all the pictures to prove this. This was in spite of Cluster Repairs UK telling me not to use SID as they were no good! They are extremely disorganised, and at one stage they lost the display and I had to threaten them with legal action to get them to return it. They refused to give me an invoice and I was not prepared to give them my credit cards details without a limit on the authorisation for charging. I spoke to the credit card company about this and they advised me not to do it, as in the event of a dispute about the cost they would not be able to assist. In the end to get the display back I had to get someone to call in with cash to take get it off them. Mostly the staff are difficult to communciate with and extremely rude. They are certainly the worst company I have ever dealt with in my professional career as well as personal life.
