After 30 yr. of paying for Life Insurance with profits i decided to surrender my policy (needed the money) after four months of 5 letters2 emails and numerous phone calls i am still trying to get MY money. Have been told i had not paid in what i said i had, then told that i had after proving it myself. the final amount went up and down like a yoo yoo. The right hand dosen't know what the left hand is doing. There a bit to quick at taking your money but when you try to get back what is yours there slower than a snail going backward. Oh and don't bother trying to get hold of the chairman he dosen't talk to peasants. Still waiting for money date 22/may/06. Put your money in a tin under the bed at least then you can get it when you need it. 4/june/06 It gets worse, rang agian for paper work to sign, so i could cash my policy in, they sent me a letter with the same phone number on that i had just rang, saying ring this number and ask for form. Wifes police up in august rang to check, told no it wasn't, after more calls was told it is. This is a badly run company and i don't trust them. Still no money. Mid june got money at last, but like all long term investmants over the last few years it did not make the money it should have but thats all part of the risk. but i could have done without the bad service. the fos got me compensation so that helped.
