Purchased one second hand from a Gamestation in Nottingham for £80. It was struggling in the first two weeks I purchased it with hard drive failure, so had to replace that. Two weeks later, the battery was found to be struggling, so £10 on top for a new battery.
However, apart from the above problems in the beginning, it's settled down to become a very useful machine. The storage space up from my original MP3 player is excellent, and the video quality is better than expected. The click wheel design as expected from normal ipods is easy to use as per usual
In retrospect, keep on top of it's shortcomings, and it's not a bad iPod. Good screen, and 30GB is more than enough space I need.

I am a person who likes variety, and listening to music when walking. When I had my portable cd player, I got annoyed whenever it jogged by the slightest bump and having to lug around several cds so I could change the music when I wanted. That's why I'm so grateful for the iPod.
It has a smart, simple and stylish design. It is easy to use and can probably be easily used by most people. It is small but not too small, so it can fit into most pockets or handbags but not be easily lost. The video display is sharp and clear, watching videos on the iPod is always a delight. The sound quality is also good and has an equalizer setting option so you can change the sound to, for example, more or less bass.

You only get a USB charger also. If you wish to charge on the go in a wall or in the car then you will need to buy another charger. Also the computer needs to be on for it to charge.

The battery life lasts through at least two films I have found and then some. It is very good considering the screen is brighter than the old version yet the battery lasts longer. A tip to save battery is to have the backlight off when not needed!
The headphones are Apple's new and improved. They offer better comfort, sound quality and noise canceling. They work very well and yes they are comfortable.
This 30GB model is what I have because you do not need more than that I find. You will find yourself holding films on there that you don't even watch if it is too big. Also ...
