~~~~~I Started Drinking~~~~~
I was not a coke lover or carbonated drink lover before but when I met my husband, I found he is a fan of Coke. After sometime I started drinking it too. How come he will drink alone and I will buy just a bottle of water? Now we buy the 15 can pack every 5 days or so. Is this a symptom of addiction? I think so. We both are now addicted to it. May be you won't believe but my husband carries some cans all the time with ... ...house in case they have something else to drink!!!!! I am sure it is addiction.
When I thought of writing a review of this I found the last review written on dooyoo about diet coke is one year old. Is there any change in the market of diet coke in this one year? I think yes, a huge increase in sell!! Coke has even bigger market than last year! What is diet coke sugar free?
A carbonated low calorie soft drink with vegetable extracts with sweeteners.
Advantages: Sugar free and caffeine free Disadvantages: Loss of taste compared to other brands!
Caffeine Free Diet Coke
Believe it or not, I had never tried the caffeine free diet coke until last Friday so I am writing this review with the following in mind: those of you who watch your calories and those of you (like myself) who drink a lot of caffeine (and wish they didn’t!!!). So here goes……
Packaging
As with the Coca Cola brand in general, the caffeine free variety is unmistakable with the brand logo very prominent and ... ...free variety comes in a gold and red can. The bottles carry a gold and red label and the 12 packs carry gold and red packaging.
Availability
Caffeine free diet coke is available from all the major supermarkets that I have been to recently and is available (from what I have seen) as a single can, 12 packs and in the bottle size. I have only purchased the single cans and the 12 pack! I have also seen it in the larger newsagents, off licences and ...
Advantages: great tasting value for money drink Disadvantages: dentist bills
O.k. today I have had one of the luckiest days of my life...I managed to pull a sickie at work, I found a five pound note under my bed, and I’ve fallen in love!
Anyway back to the point...I am feeling so lucky that I thought I’d try my luck at an opinion for my fellow Ciaoers on a Diet Coke that is Caffeine Free... -----
Packaging:
Diet Coke can be found in a golden can or a bottle with a golden stripe. It is very easy to see it is ... ...side. The can does give a more metal taste but I find it improves the flavour.
-----
The Four F's (Form, Feeling, Fragrance, Flavour):
The actual drink itself looks a mixture between dark brown and black, there are lots of fizzy bubbles and it is not viscous but water-like in thickness. It feels like you are drinking water but the fizz is strong and you can feel the bubbles around your mouth. It doesn't really have an odour; it smells like its ...
Advantages: Easy to drink, light, not gassy, very low calorie Disadvantages: slightly watery flavour
I have enjoyed diet coke for years and the recent introduction of caffeine free diet coke was great news! LOOKS
This variety comes in a light gold 330ml standard size can and has black and red writing on it. It has the standard ringpull on the top which pushes the tin opening down into the tin, as opposed to the old style of ringpull where you had to pull it off the can - which almost always went wrong for me! This can's design certainly doesn't ... ...enough and trendy.
TASTE
If you like diet coke, then why not give this one a try. I can not taste any difference in the flavour. As an alternative to coca cola (full sugar version!), then I think you would be disappointed as this is definitely a lot less sweet than that. I find coca cola to be somewhat sickly and sweet but the caffeine free version leaves no aftertaste and is a nice refreshing option. The drink is best sampled chilled in the fridge. ...
Advantages: only for Coca Cola inc. Disadvantages: empty brown water with a match dissolved in it.
I never knew how addicted I use to be to Coca Cola until I drank a can of diet caffein free coke a few weeks ago. It tasted like fizzy, slightly nasty water and I ended up with mouth ulcers. Nice. Not.
I used to drink this stuff all the time. I started on the hard stuff, sugar, caffeine the works, when I was a baby. Apparently, I used to suck it down out of the old style bottles, emptying the whole thing in about ten seconds. I suppose it took me ... ...and onto diet coke. I used to drink two or three cans of diet coke every day at work. It was a kind of ritual - there were four coke machines and I could go outside if the sun was shining, etc. One Christmas I had a splitting headache for two days. It was the first Christmas that we were married and we went away. We forgot to take anything other than decaffeinated coffee and I didn't associate the two things. We went out and had I had a coke, and ...
