Having had a Gaggia coffee grinder for fourteen years and having had various expresso machines for over twenty two years I think i have a rough idea about what coffee should taste like.
My faithful Gaggia grinder gave uo the ghost about two months ago and I told my wife I'd like a new grinder for my birthday. I thought that despite not being a coffee drinker she couldn't go too far wrong with this.
The grinder is quite large, much larger than the ... ...except that it holds more coffee which isn't really an advantage as you don't want ti going stale, and it does have quite a clever operating systemin that whilst on the Gaggia you had to hold the on botton down until it had finihed grinding on this one you can set it to how much coffee you need and then just press a button and it keeps going until it has ground the coffee. It's a good idea except it doesn't grind enough coffee on the lowest setting ...
Advantages: Fantastic coffee, looks smart, durable, no issues with static. Disadvantages: None. It grinds coffee well. FACT
...home. This is where the Dualit comes in. I have loved coffee since I was very young and now as a twenty three year old it plays an even bigger part of my life! Yes, I am aware that it’s not that healthy to drink that much of the stuff, but at least if you are going to drink it then you want it to taste good! I have owned an espresso machine for a number of years now and more recently I have upgraded to an all in one bean to cup machine, which I shall ... ...to Starbucks who sell the Dualit Burr Grinder, albeit in a starbucks branded guise. It is the same machine and is made by Dualit and retails for £35 compared to the £70 for the actual Dualit branded item. These machines are identical apart from the name. It’s up to you how much of a brand whore you want to be but a 100% increase for a name didn’t seem worth it to me! I purchased the grinder and took it home. Instantly as you remove it from the box ...

Review of Dualit 75002
Advantages: Excellent price, works well with nuts and seeds, easy to use Disadvantages: Does not grind as finely as Krups, and not as durable
...etc. I bought the Wahl ZX595 James Martin for £ 11.99 at Christmas 2008, whilst my 2-year-old Krups F203 was being repaired. I didn’t really expect much for the price; I just needed something cheap to tide me over.
However, I was pleasantly surprised: although it doesn’t grind quite as finely as the Krups (as noticed with flaxseed), it actually copes better with the larger/harder nuts such as brazils and almonds. It is also easy to use and clean, ... ...used them both, depending on what I wanted to grind and how finely ground I needed it. After a year of use, the silver piece on the lid has come off, and it's now a little fiddlier to get it in the right position to grind. However, it still works and I'll keep using it until it finally gives up the ghost. ...

It was my birthday a week ago. I'd already chosen a pair of swanky sunglases that my husband bought me. He went to town with the kids and chose this machine as a present from them.
Not quite the ideal birthday present you may think. You'd be wrong. I'm a coffee lover. We've got a built in espresso machine so a grinder is a great accessory. We've already ... ...he knew he was getting a quality product.
This grinder not only looks good on the worktop, it does a great job too. Operating it is literally child's play - my 7 and 5 old take great pleasure in demonstrating it to all visitors (I'm hoping the novelty will wear off soon as the idea is to grind it fresh each time you want a cup). With the whirl of a wheel you can choose grade the size of grind you want from very coarse to very fine, depending on ...
