SLEEK STYLING FOR THE PERFECT GRIND
Advantages: Easy to use and good looking Disadvantages: None - I even like the noise
...accessory. We've already got a Dualit toaster and that has been fine, so he knew he was getting a quality product.
This grinder not only looks good on the worktop, it does a great job too. Operating it is literally child's play - my 7 and 5 old take great pleasure in demonstrating it to all visitors (I'm hoping the novelty will wear off soon as the idea is to grind it fresh each time you want a cup). With the whirl of a wheel you can choose grade ... ...If you are familiar with Dualit you will be expecting a stylish design, and this machine won't disappoint. It looks good and it does an excellent job. What's more, even when you haven't ground the coffee your kitchen will smell of coffee just from the beans sitting in the hopper. ...

professional burr mill at home
Advantages: top quality, 5 year guarantee, 18 grind settings Disadvantages: loud
If you are buying fresh coffee then unless it's in those vac packs it is always best to buy it as beans rather than having the shop grind it for you. Coffee goes stale quite quickly after it has been ground and should be used within a few days to have it at it's best. If bought as beans it will keep for up to a month and you can grind it as it is needed. It also means you can grind it to suit different machines. I use both a cafetiere and an espresso ... ...bought this coffee grinder after my cheap blade mill finally gave up. It was expensive (£56) but I had £30 worth of tokens for a well known department store so bought it as I know the name is a good one.
The major advantage is that it is a burr mill. This is where the coffee is not in constant contact with blades so the grind is more even so no more of the mix of dust and bigger lumps. The grind is done by grinding 'plates' and after it is ground ...

KRUPS OF COFFEE.
Advantages: It doesn't turn off automatically, it takes filter papers, and is very simple to use. Disadvantages: The 'smooth side trigger action' isn't very effective.
...bought a new one: the Krups version.
For those who are unaware, a filter coffee machine is, an electrical device that filters water through ground coffee, into a jug underneath. The jug is kept hot on a heated base, for you to drink at your leisure.
Here are the key features:
Capacity: 1.25 litres
Coffee type: Ground
Filter: Paper
Cup warmer: Yes
Removable reservoir: No
Dimensions: H35.8 x W25.5 x D22.9cm
Wattage: 1100W
Krups is a mid-range ... ...it difficult to locate any Krups machines in Chester; they had top end machines and the rubbish lower end ones, but Krups, Magimix, Dualit etc, were hard to come across. I eventually found it in Browns for £49.95. It can also be purchased for a similar price from the Internet, John Lewis and other similar shops. The coffee machine is very simple to use, you put a paper filter in, the appropriate amount of coffee, add the water and turn on. It makes ...

Deep Purple Likes to Grind Coffee!
Advantages: Does the job consistantly, Easy to use! Disadvantages: Breakable parts, Minimum of 4 cups at 1 time.
...and use it in my DeLonghi machine, but it looked like a very good grind indeed. I was impressed. I tried the coffee and yes, it tasted better than ground coffee. So, cheers to a nice cup of coffee!
However, i was expecting it could fit more into it. If you're doing a party with coffee (Trust me, i would!) 84g isn't much at one time. But still, for someone at home, a teenager who wants a quick grind to have a lovely cup of coffee to get rid of the ... ...along with other mouldings from DeLonghi products. We have a lot of DeLonghi in our house you see! The mouldings break for them very easilly. But you can replace them at the website, for a price though.
Also, cleaning the inside can be an issue. Sometimes i end up mixing beans, which doesxn't lead to a great result. It isn't waterproof, and it never ALL comes out. After the first time you use it, it's dirty for life. Anyway, to conclude, it's a ...

Trouble at t'mill! Am I a has-bean?
Advantages: Starts you on the path away from Instant Disadvantages: A little bit of bump'n'grind practice needed for consistency
...Gaggia pot.
Cue the Russell Hobbs 12149-10, part of the Caffé Torino range of kitchen acoutrements, in stainless steel, black and clear plastic.
A coffee grinder effectively renders anything put into it into tiny fragments... and this one does just that! Two spoonfuls of roasted beans, sufficient for a decent cup of coffee, get rendered to near-dust with a 10 or 12 second burst on the "grind" button. In fact, the grinder will pulverise peppercorns, ... ...the cold brushed-steel exterior, the Russell Hobbs 12149-10 "Caffé Torino" coffee grinder is definitely just a grinder. Your mileage may vary - in the words of The Cranberries (after an album of the same name as the first sentence at the top of this review, and also a fruit to which the raw, undried coffee bean bears a striking resemblance - see pictures attached!): "I Really Hope" you "Analyse" "The Concept" before you buy.
