If you are buying fresh coffee then unless it's in those vac packs it is always best to buy it as beans rather than having the shop grind it for you. Coffee goes stale quite quickly after it has been ground and should be used within a few days to have it at it's best. ...along with other mouldings from DeLonghi products. We have a lot of DeLonghi in our house you see! The mouldings break for them very easilly. But you can replace them at the website, for a price though. Also, cleaning the inside can be an issue. Sometimes i end up mixing beans, which doesxn't lead to a great result.
