Say Goodbye to Coffee Shops!
Review of Illy Espresso Medium Roasted Ground Coffee by Necormancer

Advantages: Tastes brilliant, you'll never need to leave the house for great coffee!
Disadvantages: A little overpriced

...for about 4 weeks. But illy espresso's chance of coffee lasting that long unused it so slim... Conclusion: Do i really need to conclude? You can guess by my hapiness that it's a five star product, it tastes simply divine, you get more than most packages, the packaging is very smart, and well, it tastes awesome! No more coffee shops for that must have fix, huh? Buy it. You won't be disappointed! -Necormancer (BTW it was ment to be 'Necromancer', ... Read review

Best Legal Drug Ever
Review of Lavazza by dhillcrest

Advantages: Best flavour to price ratio
Disadvantages: Can be messy - but who gives a ....

...even that discerning. Lavazza Qualita Rosa is my first choice coffee. Well, Illy is actually I suppose but it costs twice as much even if it does come in a nice tin. I have been using it for over 4 years, though I occasionally use other brands just to confirm my suspicion that Lavazza is the best. Lavazza is an Italian job and is drunk widely in the coffee shops throughout the country. It has a long history which you can see at the website (http://www.lavazza.com/). ...
...is 'middle-range' in terms of Lavazza quality, containing a 30:70 ratio of Robusta to Arabica coffee. Sounds cool, whatever it means. Packaging -------------- Packaging is very important to coffee as it's a bugger to carry around loose. Lavazza have put freshness at the heart of their product and it comes foil wrapped with all the air sucked out of it. When you pierce the pack it sort of pops as the vacuum inflates with air. It's kinda cool. Having ... Read review

Cafienne Harmony
Review of Kenco Rappor by donf18

Advantages: Excellent taste, aroma
Disadvantages: none

...happens to also be called Kenco Rappor. It has a good flavour and is excellent value for money. The problem only seems to arise when there is some sort of special sweet on offer, in this instance I feel instant coffee is not quite good enough for the occassion. The answer lies in the name Kenco Rappor ground coffee. It superior taste and aroma are a most excellent compliment to my special dessert. If you are not familiar with the rating system used ...
...the strongest and most rich. kenco rappor falls into the 3 catagory which is probably the most popular. Being in the middle of the ratings does not mean the quality is inferior it simply means the Coffee beans have been blended to give that particular flavour. In this case the flavour is strong and rich. The dark coloured coffee is very slightly bitter with a very dark and mysterious taste. This is strongly accompanied by the most georgeous smell ... Twinings Coffee Mellow (Tin)
Review of Twinings Coffee Blends by DrBob2k8

Advantages: Smooth taste, pleasant aroma.
Disadvantages: Tastes a little to weak, comes in tin which is unneccesary.

Twinings having 300 years tea blending experience has finally tapped into the coffee market. Personally I like their teas but I was at first a little wary of trying their coffee range however, to my initial dissapointment whilst searching for my regular brand which I found was out of stock I settled for Twinings 'Mellow' as it was the perfect opportunity to give it a try. So I bought a tin (200g) of Twinings 'Mellow' (strengh 2). One downside I ...
...is best to store the bag once opened in a refrigerator or freezer which causes the tin to be quite pointless!. When opening the bag you initially get hit with a pleasant but quite calm aroma compared to your average coffee. I then proceeded to make the coffee and whilst it was pouring through the filter there was a pleasant but calm aroma in the air. On tasting the coffee it was a very smooth gentle fresh coffee experience although was a little ... Read review

Boaters - best for decaf!
Review of Boaters flavoured Coffee Range by lawyerdebs

Advantages: Aroma and taste are amazing!
Disadvantages: Costs more than the average cuppa! (but worth it!)

I have been ordering Boaters brand coffee by mail order since I discovered it over 10 years ago! Even when I was based in Hong Kong for two years, I had it delivered to me over there! (and even with the additional cost of overseas delivery, it was still worth every penny!) It has always been my little luxury and I get really crabby if I run out. I order it in kilo bags but you can get large or small bags and you can also choose between beans or ground. ...
...as well as quality in decaf coffees. My favourites are Irish Cream decaf, Amaretto decaf and Chocolate praline decaf (although there are plenty of other flavours to choose from as well). The aroma, when the coffee is brewing, is divine and the taste is absolutely sensational! I have tried them out on all my friends and, provided they like flavoured coffees, they go down a storm! And the response is always the same... "you'd never know it was decaf"! ... Read review
