Just like caffeinated
Review of Nescafe Gold Blend Coffee, Decaffeinated by carrd53

Advantages: Tastes like caffeinated
Disadvantages: Nescafe don't (or maybe didn't) have a good reputation

...of the day I drunk Nescafe decaff. I don't know why we think caffeine gives us a 'boost' as I felt just the same on decaff as caffeinated. Must effect us all differently. I decided there was no point in switching back to caffeinated when this one tastes as good as it does. Pregnant or not I like the taste of Nescafe and don't see the point of going back. Maybe it's not the caffeine but the amount of sugar I take that keeps me going lol. ... Read review

Cuppa Without The Caffeine
Review of Kenco Instant Coffee Granules, Decaffeinated Freeze Dried by memphisto_chick

Advantages: No Caffeince, Reasonable Price, Made From Sustainable Coffee Developments
Disadvantages: Not As Tasty, Lack Of Aroma.

...in came smoothies, juices and Kenco Decaffeinated Coffee Granules. As a student, I find drinking coffee an incredibly social activity and I would loathe stopping drinking coffee altogether, so, rather than doing that, I opted for switching to decaffeinated coffee. One of my main reasons for opting for Kenco above other brands is that it is served at my university, as I am quite a fussy person with a fussy palate, I decided this was a good enough ...
...currently the offer is that Kenco is half price, retailing at £1.37 until 5th February. The usual price is £2.74. Also, a resolution I made myself for the New Year was to be more environmentally aware and more aware of sustainability in the world, so in opting for Kenco on my Tesco.com I decided to read the blurb about this particular coffee and this came up on my screen: 'We believe in a growing better future for coffee. For a coffee made entirely ... Read review

Some Like It Hot
Review of Nescafe hot when you want by littlemissdrunk

Advantages: Truly portable coffee - need I say more?
Disadvantages: A bit pricey for the quantity

...I spotted a can of Nescafe coffee in the station's WH Smith. "A can you say?" Yep, a can. And not just any ordinary can, oh no. Some crazy boffin in a white coat at Nescafe has come up with the ingenious plan of a self-heating can of coffee. "Self-heating?" That's what I said :) The can has a clear plastic part on the underside which you have to depress (no, not in the sad sense of the word :p ). Its filled with a red liquid which, when you push, ...
...train! In the very least, Nescafe haven't short-changed you with watery coffee. "Ah, but I like it with sugar!" The cans come in different varieties to suit, although as yet, no 'black coffee' version is available. I presume this has to do with how hot the coffee would get without milk....so lets hope those boffins keep working away for those of us who need a serious wake-up call on those Monday mornings! For those non-coffee lovers among you ... Read review

Percolated coffee - in an instant!
Review of Alcafe Decaffeinated Coffee by werewolf

Advantages: decaffeinated, great taste
Disadvantages: not always in stock

NAME OF DRINK Alcafe Decaffeinated Coffee is Aldi Stores own brand of coffee. It comes in a jar. The original jars we purchased had a burgundy lid, which was difficult to close as it only had 2 notches, and it did not always fasten properly. If you failed to get it exactly right, you could pick it up next time and the lid would stay in your hand but the jar would fall on the floor, spilling everywhere, if you were not careful. Recently, the brand ...
...been completely removed. All the jars have a dark red lid (nearly the same burgundy colour of the originals) with a clear jar (apart from the brown and red label). BACKGROUND At work, we often have an Aldi trip to the Somercotes store as they have special offers on garden equipment, tools, etc. On one of these (frequent) trips, we had to purchase coffee for our “office tea fund”. I rarely look at the food/drink aisles on these trips as we are going ... Read review
