Bosch Tassimo. Purchased as a stand in!

Advantages: Simple to use with consistent results. No mess
Disadvantages: Cost of pods, ranging from 16 p to 32p per cup.

The Tassimo was purchased as a cheap way to make espresso style coffee on our boat. We tried it in our Kitchen when our pump espresso machine died and as yet it hasn't been replaced 6 weeks later. Advantages: Simple easy to use machine, Very easy to clean, Gives of fantasic Aroma

Kenwood Frothie - Makes a lovely hot chocolate!

Advantages: Mixes cold and hot drinks, enough for the whole family; heats evenly
Disadvantages: Machine is a bit noisy

This frothie maker is excellent. It heats up enough drink (for example, hot chocolate), for a family. Or you can have cold drinks such as milkshake. We just add enough milk and some hot chocolate powder, and it will heat it all up within a few minutes. So everybody's hot chocolate is ready at the same time, and is warm enough.
