As we are normally making coffee for two, filling up to the 4cup level makes two rather generous mug-fulls with some to spare or share if we are feeling generous. Advantages: Timer, ease of use, HOT coffee quickly,
Disadvantages: Not as attractive as some trendy machines

What appealed to me about this machine was the timer and the lack of a glass jar. Having used this machine now for over 18 months I can confirm it is the best coffee machine I have ever owned. I got this as a christmas present but hadn't used it until recently. The machine is great. It's really easy to use, pour in the cold milk, add coffee and push the button, the machine runs its course and at the end you have a lovely hot frothy coffee! I bought my Kenwood Frothie Drink Maker because the price of lattes in town are anything from £1.50 upwards. At first it was brilliant and the kids in particular enjoyed milkshakes - However one morning it just would not work and I ended up chucking it in the bin. I can't be doing with all this posting about of damaged items. So my relationship with this machine lasted an amazing 5 days :( My experience would not stop me from recommending it however ... This is the first coffee machine that I have ever owned, it was bought as a wedding present and I have to say, it is one of my favourite presents. The machine does not take much effort to clean and the users manual explains how to do this and is simple to understand. When brewing a full jug of coffee, the machine will make around 6 mug fulls.
