Keeping it hot

Advantages: Keeps coffee hot in the thermos flask instead of stewing it on a hot plate
Disadvantages: Must remove the flask from the stand as soon as it has brewed otherwise coffee gets cold very quickly

I chose this coffee machine because it was one of the few on the market that had a thermos flask rather then a glass pot. It is a very efficient coffee maker and keeps the coffee hot if you remember to remove it from the pedestal as soon as it has finished. The switch is quite sensitive and if the machine is joggled too much then it can switch off before it is finished. On the whole, I would buy this machine again as the coffee that comes out of ...

Advantages: Simple to use, Easy to clean, Large Capacity, Sleek look, (All Black)
Disadvantages: Perhaps would have been even better with built in Coffee Filter ?

Don't dilly-dally when the coffee's this good

Advantages: Makes great-tasting coffee (and looks good in your kitchen!)
Disadvantages: Doesn't actually keep the coffee as piping hot as you might think...

As filter coffee machines go, it is as easy to operate and as efficient in its functions as any. It's not as cheap as some, but hey, it looks good on the kitchen worktop... Design: neat swing-out, removable coffee filter tray; and an overall design that suggests it's actually been developed by someone who knows what it is to clean coffee machines (none of those pesky grooves that "designers" seem to have a fondness for, but leave the rest of us fuming ...
...remove the jug before it's finished (hurrah); the hot plate automatically turns off after a relatively short period (good); and because of the steel jug, it keeps the coffee nice n warm... for a bit, at least. You can take the fresh jug with you and it'll still be palatable for a good hour plus, though only at typical filter coffee machine temperatures. ...

I received this coffee maker as a wedding pressie and after bringing back some wonderful Blue Mountain coffee from jamiaca we could not wait to try it out. We weren't disappointed This is our first coffee maker and we wanted to buy a relatviely simple one which, i think we achieved this. It can make up to ten cups which is great when you have people round but there is an option to ask it to make 1-4 cups or 4 cups +, an excellent idea to save time and power if there is only two of you.
