I am still using the original battery and it’s showing no signs of giving up the ghost just yet. This product is sold with a Energizer battery, no wonder the battery is good.

I am quite easily swayed, if I see an advert I few times I really begin to think that I need the product. I recently chucked my old Oral B Pulsar as we getting a bit worn out. I wanted to find a similar brush and guess what I saw an advert for … the Colgate 360° MicroSonic. I really like these type of toothbrushes, fairly modern battery powered.

So the unique selling point of the Colgate 360° MicroSonic is that on the reverse side of the brush head there is a cheek and tongue cleaner. “Removes more plaque and bacteria (overall bacteria vs. brushing teeth alone with a flat-trim toothbrush) for a healthier whole mouth clean!”

There are no specific instructions in the pack but there is limited information about the five main areas of the toothbrush.
1. Vibrating head - combines high speed sonic vibrations with multi-functional bristles.
The bristles are white and blue, with the white being longer, except right at the top of the brush where the blue bristles extend beyond the white. I have the medium brush but I am sure there are more brushes available.
2. Textured tongue and cheek cleaner to gently remove bacteria from your cheeks and tongue.
I have found this really useful as when you are brushing normally you will often feel the cleaner rubbing your cheek. I also try to use it to clean my tongue when I have finished doing my teeth. This is great because your whole mouth feels so clean when you have finished brushing, I have never had a toothbrush which produced this sensation.
3. On and Off buttons.
There is an on and off button which turns the sonic action on and off. I have never used the brush without the sonic action as I can’t really see the point. The sonic action feels lovely against teeth, gums, cheeks and tongue. There is no timer on this toothbrush, I think this would be a great addition to the brush but would probably increase the price.
4. It’s slim, comfortable handle is easy to manoeuvre and control.
I wouldn’t really think about the handle usually but this brush feels very nice in your hand, not too large, like the Oral B Vitality, and not too small, I feel a bit like Goldilocks saying that. The handle is branded with a large Colgate badge in blue writing against the white handle.

As for the cleaning that this brush provides I have been very satisfied. I have used this brush twice a day for the past few weeks and I have not changed my toothpaste but my teeth have never looked whiter and my mouth has never felt cleaner.

I bought this brush a few weeks ago when I bought the Oral B Vitality for my boyfriend. This one was also on special offer, £4.99 rather than the normal price of £5.99. I think that this is great value for money considering the brilliant results I have had. However, if there wasn’t an offer on when I looked I doubt I would have bought this brush.

This toothbrush is not intended for children under 3 years of age.

Dentists suggest you should replace your brush every 3 months.

I would recommend this toothbrush to anyone over the age of three. I particularly think this would be good for those looking to easily whiten your teeth or to help make your mouth feel cleaner.
