I was looking for a new toothbrush yesterday , I wanted one that would last, but really couldn't afford the £20 being asked for some of the electric toothbrushes.
I came across this brush - I noticed that it came with batteries included for just £2.00 in my local Asda store.
I decided that I would give it a try, I liked the design, which is like the pictures shown but blue. The bottom is fairly weighty so that you can get a good grip of the toothbrush and the brush its self has two sets of bristles. The first set are formed in a circular motion and the second set just like an ordinary toothbrush, the bristles were nice and firm, but not overly so and just felt plesant when used.
The idea is that the toothbrush is used like a regular toothbrush, only when ever you want to turn on the "motion" part of the toothbrush there is a very easy to use "press on/off" button hidden into the design of the grip.
The circular part of the toothbrush rotates and "polishes" your teeth as you clean them, I was really impressed, you really can feel the difference the toothbrush is making by using that extra circular motion. I enjoyed the fresh feeling that the toothbrush left me with and would certainly recommend this product.
I drink a lot (probably more than I should) coke etc , so I am always on the look out for something that is not only going to clean but help to whiten my teeth, I have only been using this for two days but I can see the difference it is making to my teeth and feel the difference it is making to my gums already.
My gums feel "fresher" -also, my teeth are getting a good "polish". This cuts down on manual labour as well - not that it takes much to brush your teeth, but it is surprising how many people do not brush their teeth for long enough because they can not be bothered. This actually makes what is a very routine and mundane task more interesting and, because you can feel and see the difference by using the brush, it makes brushing your teeth more "fun".
I was very impressed at the quality, being a Colgate product, I was sure that it was going to "do the job" but for just £2.00 I am very pleased and feel that I picked up a bargain. I must add, I am not sure if these are always this cheap or Asda had a promotion , but I would happily spend up to £6.00 on one of these.
Obviously the only downfall is that the batteries will need changing, though at this price - I will probably buy a new one rather than change them!
There were a range of colours to choose from, the blue which I had an orange and the green shown.
A great product which works well and is amazing value for money.
