Advantages: Different coloured balls Disadvantages: Grates after a while
I generally don't go for this sort of game, but it was very cheap and I impulse bought it, and it is absolutely marvellous. For anyone familiar with the wock and woll world of Burton snooker tournaments, it provides all the thrills and spills of half edge angle shots, custom cues and bi-lateral ball midads that I never thought I would see implemented in a game.
The graphics are fine, but its the sound effects that make it special, the comments and ... ...too, like the windows you can break with the cue, and there is a video recorder in the backroom that you can knock cassettes into, for some reason when I managed to flip "House Party" into the slot, a voice said, "well, thats torn it" and the game crashed, maybe its an in-joke?
Also it runs on just about any PC, so if you feel you need another snooker game in your collection, rush out and get this, its weally gweat. ...
