Collection 2000 Natural Matt+ Foundation
Advantages: Keeps skin dry and grease-free all day ~ Cheap ~ Easy to apply Disadvantages: No coverage

I applied the Collection 2000 foundation by hand without the use of a sponge. I wasn't expecting earth-shattering effects with this humble foundation as I only wanted it for daywear. However, I was a little disappointed in the coverage. The foundation itself goes on well but there is barely any coverage at all. Then again, I didn't buy it for good coverage.

I was looking for a cheap, everyday-wear foundation and I decided to choose Collection 2000 as I've liked their products in the past. I bought this foundation from eBay costing £1.99. I'm unsure of their full range of colours, but I chose Natural Ivory as I'm very pale.
Natural Matt+ -----------------
As the name suggests, this foundation is designed to keep the complexion matte throughout the day. The ingredient used for this purpose is kaolin. Water is top of the ingredients list, but other ingredients include grape extract (for a 'fresh complexion'), and vitamin E. This foundation also has UVA and UVB filters.
The bottle it comes in is plastic, which I quite like as you can always squeeze out the very last of the product come the end. The lid is of the screw-on variety which keeps everything nice and fresh.
This foundation boasts 'Improved application and wear,' and 'All day fresh matt finish'.

As for the matte finish, I have used better foundations in the past (Estee Lauder is a favourite), but for the price I really shouldn't complain. This foundation did keep my skin matte throughout the day, but it didn't wear terribly well: it looked as though I were foundation-free come evening.
Overall Verdict -------------------- I'll continue to use Collection 2000 Natural Matt+ until I've finished the bottle, but I'm not sure that I'd buy it again. The price tag is its saving grace, to be honest; there's very little else which is appealing. It did keep my complexion dry and matte, but the coverage is severely lacking - it was more like a tinted moisturiser.
For £1.99 you get 40ml of foundation. For anyone who is not used to the prices of foundation, this is very cheap indeed. I usually pay around £20 when investing in a good foundation.
This product would be most suited to someone who has a great complexion that gets a little greasy throughout the day. Natural Matt+ will keep the shine off of even the greasiest of faces.

COLLECTION 2000 POWDER
Recently I've been having spot troubles and it really started to get me down, people say you shouldn't put anything on the stupid things but they look so ridiculous you blatantly have to put something on during the hours of daylight to hide them! A foundation would seem the ideal solution so off I went to my local Superdrug.
Now I'm not loaded and usually find myself with a few quid left in the bottom of my pocket or my wallet ... ...always rush straight to my collection 2000 stand where my products lay!
I managed to find a compact foundation on my Collection 2000 reasonably priced at £2.99. This is a brilliant price, nowadays we have MaxFactor bringing out compact foundations for £10 plus, I personally think this is rather ridiculous!
Anyways, this foundation is a special 3 in 1. It is called: 'Sheer Wet + Dry 3 in 1 Make Up' and is pretty cool if I say so myself! This ONE ...

Makeup for the Money
Collection 2000 Foundation
I first started using this collection as a teenager as the prices are very low compared to many makeup brands. Don't get me wrong, this is not just a foundation for teenagers, and the price does not reflect the condition in any way. Let me explain further;

Collection 2000 can be brought from most places selling makeup, such as Superdrug, Boots and Tescos. You generally find ... ...the cheapest. Unfortunately Collection 2000 does not seem to have a website or any phone numbers available to be able to give much information for you so I will have to write completely from what I know, so I hope this helps. There are a few different coverage colours though not nearly as many as other collections. ...to create a base from collection 2000. I saw it in superdrug, and since I was short of cash, I decided to try it instead of a much more expensive product.
What you get for your money (around 2.99) is a rectangular compact, inside is a mirror and decently sized makeup sponge, as well as the makeup itself. You can use the sponge damp or dry (it does need washing regularly), and the coverage is excellent. It doesn't irritate your skin, and the light ... ...makeup will last you a reasonable amount of time, depending on how you use it and how often.
I found that I could just use it dry, on top of a bit of other concealer and moisturiser, and it would just about look as though I had my usual foundation on. That way i didn't have to go to the bother of wetting the sponge! It's just trial and error to see what method suits your skin type.

Collection 2000 is a wide range of cosmetics which are economically priced and usually of a high standard and great value for money! I think it's definitely an underrated brand...Give it a go!
The "Sheer Wet & Dry 3 in 1 make up" is a very handy little product and pretty essential in any girl's handbag! It contains a Foundation, Concealer & powder and a useful sponge for application.
The container is a sturdy fold-out case with a mirror and 1 single ... ...coverage is very impressive, which was the first thing I noticed after applying this for the 1st time, and it's also great value for money.
You can get it and the fantastic whole Collection 2000 range in the majority of chemists and health/beauty shops nationwide. Give it a go! ...

...! I have always loved Collection 2000 things, they are cheap but great ! I was recommended this by a friend. I went to my local town and into superdrug, where I found it. It was £3.99, probably the cheapest foundation in the whole shop ! When I got home, I opened it and felt VERY disappointed. I even thought about taking it back.

i went shopping looking for a foundation that wasnt too heavy and here it is i found it!! Its simply amazing it covers upuneven skintone so well and without the shine that persnally i hate and im sure every one else does. it dosnt look to much but is that just natural look plus it dosnt clog up my pores it just lightly sits ontop oof my skin and last throughout the whole day although towards the end of the day i normally have to apply powder, but not all the time. It is also very easy to remove and a very good product and cheap, it is priced from around £3 pounds to £4 in shops but i got mine for £1.99 on ebay and was so pleased with the results.. i hope this helps everyone :) ...

I have used this product for about 3 years now. It is a compact which contains powder and a sponge to apply it. If you wet the sponge, it can be used as a foundation. Once you've wet the sponge though it can't really be used dry again because the consistency sort of changes (they don't tell you this but I've noticed from using it). It gives good coverage and there are a range of shades. I use "sand" which is good for a fairly pale skin tone. It is very cheap at about £2.99 and can be found in Superdrug in the Collection2000 range. The packaging is a nice dark blue and very compact with a mirror in the lid. the only complaint i would give is that the sponge provided soon wears out. ...
i have been an avid collection2000 purchaser for ages i personally like the collection2000 waterproof mascara's at £2.19 from superdrug,boots,debenhams and lloyd's also supermarket' it work's very well but although they may be no rain the mascara smudges and take a few minutes to dry there are so many shades to choose from.
the collection2000foundation's are sheer or matte i use sheer foundation the texture is not too runny but a top tip:if you find you foundation too dark blend together with white moisturiser the foundation is £1.99 and the moisturiser i use is revlon revitalising 24 hr cream priced at £3.99.
the lipstick's are really glossy but i only recently bought my first one from collection2000 and found it had bled. a top tip for that is not to put too much on like i did and line lip's with a similar coloured lip liner.
