Collection 2000- Nail Varnish

*INTRODUCTION* This is a review of the nail varnishes I have tried from the Collection 2000 range. Collection 2000 are a brand made by the cosmetics company Constance Carroll, who are located in lovely Skelmersdale in the north west, not far from where my nan lives! Collection 2000 Nail Polish in Clear I bought this nail polish a while ago, perhaps seven or eight months ago, from Wrexham market one day when my friend had dragged me over to the Beauty stalls. I do like looking there because I love beauty bargains, but I try not to spend too much time and money there because I am an Avon representative after all and loyal to my own business. I am back in the mood for painting my nails again, I go through little phases you see, I can go for months and only wear clear varnish on my nails and then go through stages where I can’t enter Boots or Superdrug without buying nice new colours. And yesterday morning I visited Superdrug at Glasgow Central on my way to work and they had a little offer on their Collection 2000 range, buy a trio eyeshadow (£2.19) and a mascara (£1.99) and receive a nail varnish worth £1.79 free, if you were buying the nail varnish anyway it means for only an extra £2.39 you can also have both these products ... more

Once upon a time I had nice nails. But sometimes things happen and you start to neglect certain things and the old fingernails didn’t look so good anymore. I'm not a fan of the brand which is 'Collection 2000' I'm afraid. I find it a cheap and tacky offering and it doesn't impress me at all! I prefer big brands which ok may mean higher prices (as a rule) but I like the good stuff and this to me just isn't. It's economy and I get no excitement in using it! I like a lovely bottle and a touch of luxury I guess. To me I'm worth it lol.
