A picture frame TV
Advantages: superb clarity and sound , masses of hookups all in a stylish elegant TV
Disadvantages: Weighs 156 lbs (11 stone!) and needs 2-3 people to move it safely !

The best CRT wide screen TV?
Advantages: Incredible picture and sound quality, S-Video inputs so you can hook it up to your PC. Reasonable surround sound out of the box.
Disadvantages: Incredibly heavy, it will take three people to lift. Also quite thick so it will create a lot of dead space behind it.
I needed to do a fair amount of research before stumping up over 1K for a TV, so asked opions up and down Tottenham Court Road where this TV was more often than not the one recommended.
