I love my TV Advantages: Everything about it Disadvantages: none ...myself up this new '32 Samsung TV and guess what it was only £370!!! Leaving me some spare cash to get myself the samsung DVD player aswell, but that can be talked about on a diffrent review. lol I love my new TV its sooo smart and slick it looks great the picture is fantastic and at that price its a steal!! The Samsung Slimfit WS32Z30HE 32" Widescreen TV Advantages: Very Slim for a CRT 32" Widescreen. a lot cheaper than a plasma, Pureflat Disadvantages: None yet! Ok, so I really wanted to buy a plasma screen, I would have settled for a LCD and I really didn't want to have to build a annex for the installation of a standard 32" CRT TV. Unfortunately I had to face reality - I couldn't afford either of the first two options, and would have to build that new room for that 32" CRT. Or did I? After trawling through various online and local superstores I came across the perfect alternative - a CRT with Samsung's ... ...roughly a third less than that of a normal CRT and the price is not massively elavated for the privilege - I payed £450 from an online store. I have had the TV now for 9 months, and have had no problems, the menu systems are easy to navigate and the picture quality is great. For those not needing HD or LCD just yet Advantages: Flat screen, LCD/Plasma look for half the price Disadvantages: VERY heavy, had a few problems with mine ...£1000! For anyone viewing this Samsung TV though, you would think it was a plasma or LCD television due to its lovely flat screen and the curved design of the speakers (that curve around the screen) and you can't see a massive black box protruding for miles like conventional CRT televisions used to be like. After around a week, Comet delivered my new television and the poor guys from Comet had to carry it's huge weight up 2 floors and by the end ... ...muscles. When they had gone I had the joyous task of moving the thing myself - which was not an easy task. I've never known anything as heavy in my life, which is it's main downfall. The supplied stand was easy to put together, although does look slightly cheap - it could have done with back walls and perhaps a glass door on the front, however, it does it's job well and the TV looks in place when its on top of it. Unbelievable amount of TV for your money Advantages: Runs at 1080, very easy to set-up. Disadvantages: Quite heavy ...and beyond 80 degs. Samsung advertise this as a Slim Fit TV and they are not wrong. I used to own a Panasonic 28" widescreen CRT and this Samsung unit is about half as deep. As CRT TV's go, this is like a catwalk model. With regards to appearance, black is always a winner is my book and some very cleaver design features on the front make this TV appear much thinner than it is. OVERALL My intent was to get a TV that has all the bells ... ...I have succeeded. It has all the connections at the back that I could possibly need with a very easy to use in-built menu to swap between them all. Apart from me almost breaking my back lifting the TV into place, I have never said a bad word against it. Family and friends have all be impressed with this TV and when I tell them the price every one of them are now considering the same. ...
