Disadvantages: Not many

...volume unless it is a Philips brand. Motion and crispness of picture is second to none, with no flicker, it seemlesses plays documentaries at excellent detail. Add to this 100hz technology and possibly Phillips pixel plus, you have an excellent TV which, in my view, lasts and perfoms better than modern LCDs. Nevertheless, it is a great buy, and great to watvh in the comfort of your own home. Features: Pixel plus (on specific models) - enhances the ...

Dynamic contrast : compensates the lighting conditions of the room to adjust the picture accordingly This is a great TV of its time, and if you are not fashion conscious or even concerned of HD at this stage, then this offers a basic good value for money plus a brilliant picture ... Good picture just a shame about the sound
Review of Philips 14PT6107 by ladyboymondaytofriday

Advantages: cheap - good quality picture playback - large range of features - built in DVD
Disadvantages: poor audio quality

When the time came to replace my aging TV in my bedroom the size of the room was an overriding factor, I couldn't have a large screen, nor a back that stretched for a foot backwards due to limited surface space. My first thoughts were to pick up a small flat screen TV with an LCD screen but after shopping around I found that they were out of my price range. I then searched high and low for a good quality portable TV and I came across the Phillips ...
...only is this a TV is also combines a built in DVD player which can play CDs, DVDs and MP3s. The installation process was hassle free, having only a 14-inch screen it was fairly light and certainly very portable having a handle formed into outer plastic. With 100 pre set channels after connecting the TV to my aerial the onscreen menu the auto search feature made tuning each channel very easy and at no stage did I have to look at the instructions ... OK, but a bit dated now
Review of Philips 32 PW 6006 by adampurcell16

Advantages: Good sound and screen size
Disadvantages: A little out of date

Good sound, but is a little bit distorted when used with freeview box. 32 inch screen is really good for watching TV and films, so I would definately suggest using it as a main TV, perhaps in your living room or a games room? Overall, a bit of a budget TV. But it does get the job done. ... Read review

Disney Cars DVD Combo
Review of Disney C1320PTVD CARS DVD-Combi by livin4gater08

Advantages: Durablilty
Disadvantages: The only one I found is my child wants to watch TV all the time

My daughter got one for her birthday and she loves it. It works pretty well, it is very convienient having the dvd at hand and it definitly saves space. It is a little different to set up but once you have read the instructions it is really easy. What I like about it most is that it is really durable. My three year old has tried to stick food and toys in the dvd slot, she has pushed it off the stand, she sometimes sits on it pretending it is a car ... Read review
