Advantages: Great graphics, good story Disadvantages: Unbelieveable
I don't normally like disaster movies but I have to admit that I really liked the film 2012.
I found it extremely unbelieveable but if you can suspend your thought process and just enjoy it for the on screen spectacular that it is then you will like this film too. There were times throughout the movie when I literally turned to my husband and said, "No way, that is just not possible, that would never happen, they should have died 2 hours ago, etc, etc but the great part about this film was that it kept my attention as I was wondering exactly what was going to happen next.

Advantages: Fantastic graphics.Interesting concept Disadvantages: Half baked story,bad dialogues,illogical at times
jobs and stupid jokes!
One area where the film scores big is its graphics.The graphics are fantastic and adds up to a great cinematic experience.I don't know how effective it will be on DVD and Blu-ray. The performances call for no heroics and no one actually standout from the crowd.
2012 might be a crowd pleaser but it is utterly disappointing! ...

Advantages: Great special effects and enjoyable to watch Disadvantages: The story is pretty weak.
2012 we were warned.... Well we were warned and now we have the film to show us exactly what may happen. I just watched this and didn't really expect much as far as story line goes but it is worth watching.
The story is ok but the main reason to watch this film is the ground breaking special effects. The characters in this movie play a good part and the acting is not in anyway bad.
If you have not seen this movie and are thinking about watching it then it is worth watching and due to the special effects it is enjoyable to watch. For the best effect while watching this movie turn the sound up and watch it on a big screen to get the full affect of the special effects.
A good film but by no means the best of the year. ...
