The Kentucky Fried Movie is without a doubt one of the funniest movies of the 1970's. The plot is simple it's a parody of television of the time; the entire film is basically 84 minutes of a phoney television channel. Along for the ride are some of the popular actors of the time including Bill Bixby, Donald Sutherland and Henry Gibson.
The movie varies in theme it begins with a morning breakfast show, and ... ...several documentaries. Each section is absolutely ridiculous from the offset, but you cannot help but smile. Some of the sections included:-

This film is in French, but has English subtitles. However you don't really need the subtitles, to understand what is going on.!
The Film is all about making an Adult movie. The "director" (Parillaud), is trying to get his head actor (Colin) and his head actress (Mesquida) to give the most realistic performance of graphic sex. But in the movie they hate each other. You can imagine how hard this ... ...is a pretty boy who thinks Mesquida is an idiot. Watching them kiss is an exercise in understated apathy.
Catherine (The real Director) treats the subject with real respect for her audience's sensibilities.
This film has the rare truth about Sex, where confusion gets in the way of sexiness.
Parillaud (The movie Director) Has to find away to make the head Actors come together.
