Advantages: It's funny and very well written. Disadvantages: Most guys may boke at the thought of watching it.
Ok, as a guy I realise this film is a total chick-flick however, as chick-flicks go, it isn't that bad at all. Based on a novel written by Helen Fielding, it tells the story of a woman in her 30's who has been branded permanently single as she tries to figure out what love is all about. Who hasn't been there?! From a complicated and confusing romance with her boss to all the womanizers and compulsive commitment freaks she meets, this is a humorous ... ...has the role of the unlucky in love Bridgette and she is co-starred by Colin Firth and Hugh Grant. I thought she took to the role very well especially adopted her normal southern American accent to a very good proper English one. Also notable is that Richard Curtis was part of the writing team so you can rely on a few good witty lines of dialogue that hark back to his days of writing Blackadder. For a guy to sit and watch it, it can be slightly cringe ...

Advantages: Pure Genius Disadvantages: Some people have never watched it
...to buy it". However, this the completely wrong approach to take...
Ricky Gervais plays David Brent, a completely hopeless boss who somehow has managed to become manager of the Slough branch of a paper manufacturing company that goes by the name of Wernham Hogg. However, he is also accompanied by his equally, maybe more so, funny office workmates Tim (Martin Freeman), Gareth (Mackenzie Crook) and Dawn (Lucy Davis) to name but a few...
If you're ... ...jokes and laugh out loud humour then you have came right place. David with his completely obvious inability to run a successful company but also his sureness that he is in fact a great boss make it a very amusing show. Along with this, Gareth's unfailing loyalty to David and Tim's unusual normality in this office, this is one thing you do not want to miss.
Overall, I highly reccommend this and is even more fun if you have office experience, enjoy! ...
