1980 - Comfort was relaunched with more perfume, improved softness and a richer appearance.
1984 - Comfort released its first concentrated fabricconditioner, which was 3 times more concentrated than the regular stuff.
1992 - Comfort released a new logo and more modern packaging.
1993 - Comfort released its first fully bio-degradable formulation.
1998 - Comfort replaced cartons with environmently friendly light weight crushable bottles. They also released their first hypo-allergenic fabricconditioner.
2004 - Comfort released the first ever fabricconditioner capsules.

...When you think of fabricconditioner, what brands come to mind?
I'm sure you'll probably think of Comfort as one of those brands, with their funny little fabric people adverts. Comfort is one of my favourite fabricconditioners anyway; they have a lovely range of fragrances and clothes come out of the wash in great condition after a good dose of this stuff.
Comfort was first introduced to the British nation in 1969 as the very first fabricconditioner, producing their concentrated version in 1984, a biodegradable version in 1993 and finally creating Comfort Pearls in 2004.

...I first came across Comfort Pure fabricconditioner when I was searching my local supermarket when I was 7 months pregnant and stocking up on essentials for when I had had my baby boy. My mum told to buy non-bio powder and this fabricconditioner, as it is widely recommended for use on baby clothes, so I did. Even now, using this product makes me remember holding my tiny 4lb baby in my arms with his clothes smelling of Comfort, and I think this product will always make me think of this. For this, I thank the makers of Comfort, as it will always trigger wonderful memories!
Comfort Pure comes in a clear plastic bottle, with a white label on the front and the name Comfort across the middle in bold blue writing, with "pure" underneath in a light grey colour. There is a picture of a sleeping by, which tells you immediately that the product...
