Every year Comic Relief holds a show on BBC1 to raise money for elderly and homeless people which will all be explained in this review.
~~How Comic Relief Raises Money~~ Comic Relief creates a ''red nose'' every year which costs £1 to buy from Sainsburys and Oxfam. Every Pound spent a red nose goes to Comic Relief. They also create TV Programmes to raise money as well. This year they created Comic Relief Does Fame Academy. You phone up to vote for the winner and 15p from the call goes to Comic Relief. Also the MAKEpovertyHISTORY wristbands donate to the earnings.
~~Who Comic Relief Helps~~ All the money goes to help elderly people who are victims of abuse and homeless people out in Africa. The money goes to help get those people of the streets and to find them a family and a home. The money for ederly people helps them get security and reduce and the amount of attacks and violence on them.
~~How YOU Can Help~~ You can help buy holding sponsered activities, sales and community fundraising and giving the money to Comic Relief. Quite a lot of TV shows like Eastenders involve Comic Relief and show how fun it can be to encourage you to get involved.
~~When Is It~~ The official Red Nose Day 2005 is Friday 11th March and the show is on the same night and it will include the Fame Academy final and Comic Relief Little Britain with Elton John and Robbie Williams

Advantages: Do some genuine good. Comic Relief addresses a broad range of issues. Suffering in it's entirety is tackled, and good on them. Disadvantages: Don't talk nonsense.
