This game is a improvement on the oringal Commando & Conquer but it was not the massave improvent that many people where hoping for. For example gameplay has not changed much, People who have play C&C will be able to learn how to play this within a few minutes. I did. Don't get me wrong Tiberian Sun is still a great game for a number of reasons.
Improved graphics: There are no blockey graphics like in the origial C&C. The graphics are all in a higher resalotion and like lovely.
Dynamic coloured lighting: This brings mood and attitude to the battlefield more than ever before. There are now some missions set at night and searchlights to intensify the thrill and excitement.
Living battlefield: This is a great feature off the game. Flying shrapnel, shockwaves and crashing debris.
The enviorment now plays a bigger part in your attack plan. There are now ion storms which prevent some of the more high-tech unit such as the MRLV for moving. There is also destructible terrain, forest fires and treacherous ice fields.
Units who have been in lots of battle will now become veteran units. This is ment to make them gain new abilites, hit points, armour and weapons power with their combat experience.
One of the best new units is the medic who can heal any foot soldier which means that your troops should last longer than they did in the oringal C&C.
You can also play C&C on Westwood online (SM). The internet play feature is fult integrated which allows for quick and easy connections to the Westwood online servers. Features of internet play incluede Battle clans, a battle map generator and a world-wide ranking and ladder systems.
I would recommend this game to any fan of stratagy games.

Advantages: Excellent, addictive gameplay, exciting storylines, entertaining videos and cut scenes, brilliant array of units!!! Disadvantages: Too one sided NOD have a huge advantage over GDI, and you cannot save the video cut scenes which is frustrating!
Advantages: Two discs so you can lend one to a friend for multiplayer, you can change the graphical detail if its running to slow(very usefull in multiplayer) Disadvantages: Dont know about anyone else but I have to have Firestorm installed for the game to work.
