An excellent review, very persuasive. As a Science Fiction enthusiast I have to add that I dislike sticking labels on books (and for that matter, on people) because one can start with an inbuilt prejudice. A good read is a good read! Glad you enjoyed this...Les
"I've never tried it because I don't like it," my elder son used to say as a child. Such a shame that things get pigeon-holed into categories and neglected in consequence. Personally, I like some SF (try Jack Vance) and dislike some. I don't know this author, but will add her to my ever-growing reading list. Best wishes, Duncan
