...bought mine for £2.99, which is superb value. QUOTE I thought it would be good to include a quote to demonstrate how good the style of writing is- the rhyme and humour really work. 'Gerald was a tall giraffe Whose neck was long and slim But his knees were awfully bandy And his legs were rather thin.' MY VIEW I love this book. It is told so beautifully and is a really valuable story; it is great for any child, but also for a child that feels different. Perhaps your child has just had glasses or isnt very good at P.E.- this is the perfect story to read them to lift their spirits. As a primary school teacher for ten years and a mother of two young children, I have read a lot of childrens' books- this is definately one of my favourites. Advantages: Bright , Colourful cute
Disadvantages: title suggests a story but it's really just poems
