Manufacturer's product description
Compaq TurboDAT AutoLoaders combine the 4/16-GB TurboDAT Drive technology with 12-tape magazines to automatically store large volumes of data for the optimum in unattended, fully automated data backups. The drive ships with only a 4-tape cartridge, to get the full possible capacity you need this 12-tape cartridge. This cartridge gives you incredible capacity; without compression: 48 GB, based on a typical 2: 1 compression ratio: 96 GB. The theoretical maximum based on a 4: 1 compression ratio is 192 GB. This does not include any DAT tapes.
Advantages: Good value for money Disadvantages: A little noisy
...The HP 3550 is what I would call the ideal printer for a student like me. I had purchased the printer in exchange for 2 HPcartridges that were bought for the HP 710c. Unexpecting miracles from this little thing and considering I got it for more or less £42 it has exceeded my highest expectations.
The printer is 422mm by 142mm and weighs just 2kg. The HP website says that it is capable of printing 14ppm (pages per minute) in black or 10ppm when text/graphics. Although these must not be taken too seriously as according to computer magazines, these figures are most of the times inaccurate. The HP 3550 is purchased with both the black and color cartridges in the box, which is good and certainly adds to the value of the product. Regarding the printing produced, well i think its fabolous. Once I had to print party invitations...

Advantages: Black and White printing is amazingly quick Disadvantages: colour photoes aren't excellent
...I bought the Hewlett Packard 720c last year to upgrade from my old printer. Prior to purchasing the printer i had read reviews on it out of magazines and was amazed to find out that it orinted 8 b/w pages in a minute. Mainly because of this i decided to buy it as i required a printer that could print black and white quickly for my office job.
The printer certainly lived up to its expectations and it also prints colour quickly and with good quality too.
The only thing that perhaps the hp 720c lacks is that when the print cartridges are nearing empty this is not displayed on the screen and also printing colour photoes onto glossy paper isnt that effective. Something that the Epson printers specialise in.
The HP's good qualitys however far outway its bad ones and its a great buy for a office user and for just over £100 its not too...

...HP 57 TRI-COLOUR INKJET PRINT CARTRIDGE
You may have heard of a two car family, well I hate to say it that we are now a two printer family.
My wife who has a laptop was constantly using my printer for her own work and funnily enough, my ink cartridges were constantly running out, so we decided to invest in a second printer which takes HPcartridges number 56 (black) and number 57 (colour).
HP 57 PACKAGING AND CONTENTS
The packaging itself makes it look as if you are getting a larger cartridge than the one you actually get. For those of you that are into minimal packaging, then I would say that there is too much packaging, in the form of cardboard, and depending on where you buy them from, these are then further packaged into a see through plastic holder. The cartridges that I have bought recently come from various parts...

HP 21 BLACKINKJET PRINT CARTRIDGE
My previous Hewlett Packard printer recently decided to call it a day, and join printer heaven via the local recycling centre.
I ended up buying a Hewlett Packard Printer / Scanner / Copier which takes HP 21 and HP more
HP 350XL
I have recently started using this XL version replacing the previous smaller versions. I used both the black and colour cartridges at work.
My workload for printing is high as I am constantly preparing visual worksheets for pupils. I need... more
Usually when I need to get more paper or cartridges I buy them separately, as they never seem to run out at the same time. This time, however, they ran out simultaneously, and I found this pack to buy, which beat the combined price of other options I... more
