...seems to me that the Compaq range of computers is anything but reliable. Bearing in mind how prelavent they are in the work place however, it seems as though they are doing something right. Give them their due, their marketing department are wizards. A shame the same can't be said of the people who design and build them. ...of the hardware. Basically, I would expect a P.C. to be comatible with virtually anything, with a tweak or two here and there in the hands of people who are trained to do the tweaking. However, the more I see, it seems as though a whole team of technicians is required to keep the hardware operative as it chashes with all sorts of industry standard software.
