...**HP History**
HP have been around since 1939 when Stanford University classmates Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard founded the company. A coin toss decided the name and they were in business. In 1966 they produced their first computer. In the 1984 HP launched inkjet printers and laser printers that connected to personal computers. HP's high-quality, inexpensive inkjet printers brought about the end of dot-matrix printers. The HP LaserJet printer line, became the company's most successful product ever. The quality and reliability of HP's printers has made HP a highly recognizable brand. . These printers were capable of printing 300 dpi (dots per inch) which compared to nowadays is not much. But a milestone then.

Advantages: Super size, great definition, great colours and essential with using CAD Disadvantages: Make sure that you have space on your desk for it
...My husband purchased this about 2 months ago as he was previously using a 19" monitor for his CAD work on furniture design. The unit was easy to assemble and link up to my existing PC. The is excellent definition/resolution and having the widescreen makes it so much better for working with. The W 22 stands for 22" Wide. and it is also a flat panel monitor.
It has high 1680 x 1050 resolution, high 5ms response time and digital video input
We picked it up for £215.00 and think that it was worth every penny.
Currently it is selling for:-
HPW22 LCD Monitor, 22 Inch - £259.00 - John Lewis
HP Hewletpack W22 Monitor - £209.99 - Dixons
HP Hewletpack W22 Monitor - £209.00 - PC WORLD
Thoroughly recommended
Key features as detailed in manual include:-
Audio capability Built-in speakers
Brightness 300cd/m²
Colours supported 16...

Advantages: Easy to set up and use, FAST, quality printing Disadvantages: Costly Cartridges
...Fr quite an old printer this is bril liant! It has an Always Clear Always Sharp (just as Hewlett Packard says) printing quality with NO VISIBLE DOTS but the cartridges are very expensive but do last a long time (and I do a lot of printing). If you need a relitively cheap A4 printer this is ideal as I can't tell the difference between printing from this and other, higher models. The set up is as easy as pie and it really is dead easy to operate. A brilliant printer....

The HP iPAQ 214 Enterprise Handheld is an advanced piece of kit which you can comfortably take with you anywhere you go, almost like a mini laptop! It actually runs on a 624MHz processor, I remember my first ever PC which was 133MHz, that really does put more
