Advantages: based no good processor P4 1.7gHz Disadvantages: small hard drive, weak graphics controller
...Try to find a good PC with workable characteristics. I know it's hard to find the best variant in the wide range of complectations for PC. Well let me tell you that sometimes is better to get a complete PC from one of the best companies in the world. It's a little more expensive than to buy it by parts and get them together by yourself but you know for sure that it's made by specialists who made all the adjustments just for you. EvoD300 goes with fine P4 processor with enough frequency in 1.7gHz. There is enough RAM for this processor to provide a good and fast work without any troubles. Hard drive could be larger but it's not to bad if you clean your drive regulary. And ofcourse there are a floppy drive and CD-rom which you may choose. Also you may choose the operational system you like Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional SP2 / XP...

Advantages: Reliable, Durable, Great display, Portable desktop Disadvantages: None
...to say here is that there is nothing in a stupid place (USB ports are around the back where they should be and not on the side where your sticks etc get in the way of your mouse).
Typical 3kg weight makes this portable and with all the connectivity options I've given presentations and ran workshops on a variety of external peripherals including a few cinema systems (fantastic).
Speed has never been a problem with the P4 2GHz processor - even today.
Not had a single problem with the keyboard despite very heavy use.
I've only had to replace 2 things: the hard disk (3 months ago) and the cable for the laptop display.
The only problem with the Evo is that it hasn't given me a single solitary reason for me to buy a new, better Laptop!!! Normally I look forward to that pleasure every 2-3 years but no such luck here - it's still...

Advantages: Small, Powerful, easy to use Disadvantages: For more proffesional use it would need upgrading.
...The compaqEvoD500 p41.6ghz is a good pc in many ways
1)The graphics card has a 3d hardware accelerator so you can play basic 3d games. This isn't integrated so that means that you can take it out and put in a new one I did exactly that and that turned it into a gaming machine.
2) It has 256 mb of Ram in one slot and there are three so again lots of room for upgrading but unless you want' to do a high powered process like video editing 256 is plenty for doing what a home pc should do.
3)It has a 20gb Hard drive this is good because it means that the pc can stay small as this isn't a very big hard drive and if you are thinking of buying it do not be put off by this as you can get an external hard drive these days for about £60.
I gave this pc 4 stars because it is very practicle as it is small yet powerful and with 2 pci...

I wanted to build a new computer for myself but I also wanted a FAST one, and I can’t have a fast computer without a good motherboard. The ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe is a computer motherboard from the computer hardware company, Asustek (aka Asus).
