O.k this hot looking package has a black and silver mini tower and is really good for use in an office. It comes with a matching keyboard that’s really slim and stylish. The key board comes with several hot keys that you can programme to open up your email or favourite websites. The package also includes a black and silver S5500CRT monitor. I found the PC to be pretty easy when setting up and ive had some 'gone wrong' incidents where i made use of a good recovery disk that was included to reinstall my operating system and erase the problem.
The babe comes with a 2.4 GHZ Intel Pentium 4 central processor unit and a decent amount of 256MB SDRAM (Although a bit more would be better, also static ram is not as good as DDR dynamic RAM). The monitor has a high resolution despite its size and gives out good colours with reasonable graphical display. The refresh rate is around 1024-768 at 6oHz.
There are two available open drive bays on this computer so you could have an extra hard drive or maybe a DVD-RW as an upgrade fitted later on. Although this computer has a DVD player it will not let you record to DVD. There are 3 extra PCI slots incase you want to add a network interface card or maybe a modem. There will be one free memory slot left, though i do recommend you pull it out and get some DDR RAM and about 500MB of it. This will allow your operating system to handle multi tasks more effectively and improve your processor speed nicely as well.
windows xp comes standard with this box which i think is better than windows98 these days. Although you may be wishing to install a different operating on this computer anyway.
Quite expensive for this little package that does not have an awesome amount of features but if you have a business requiring reasonable budgeting this might be a good option.
Prices are around $900 so that’s about £400 give or take.
